  1. These are org charts from various time periods. I only saw one reference in 1972 for the Domestic Contact Service under the Deputy Director for Intelligence. FWIW Item 02.pdf (hood.edu)
  2. Hasn't it been established that Kennedy did not promise air cover, but Bissell said he did?
  3. Hey Michael whatever happened to the discussion about Oswald and the Monterey Institute of Language? I think there is information confirming that and I thought it was in question.

  4. I'm not certain how many here are aware of this section of the NSA site but it's pretty interesting: National Security Agency/Central Security Service > Helpful Links > NSA FOIA > Declassification & Transparency Initiatives > Historical Releases > JFK
  5. Click on your link. Right click on the image and select "Open Image in New Window" or whatever it says in your browser. Look at the top of the browser and the image will be listed on the tab, the address bar or you could "Save As" and see the name there. Trust me it says "Angelton-Malam-1-2000x1125.jpg". I assume his last name is "Malam".
  6. Uh... the name of the image is Angleton-Malam-1-2000x1125.jpg. I'd check Malam as the last name first.
  7. This is common and no doubt has some basis in the currently held documents. We had some discussion that they may be protecting Marina for instance. Sometimes witnesses are able to require their own statements be attended by a classification rating also. I've seen a number of those from former NSA members. Hard to say. I haven't seen statements in the JFKA be covered by personal classification requests but maybe they have at times.
  8. Is that a two-tone 58 Chevrolet Impala in the BG?
  9. It's an argument that is rarely heard but obvious to me on its face. It's one of the reasons why the dollar is the currency of choice and will remain so far into the future as long as we don't turn into some banana republic anytime soon. That doesn't mean other economic powers won't develop new trade strategies. But they'll be trading in dollars. Interesting to note: I'm not certain the percentage now but at one time well over half of the printed currency in dollars physically existed outside the borders of the US (75% ?). If we ever decided to change to say Yellow dollars and terminate the debt on the green ones, the value of the new dollars would skyrocket as drug and arms dealers etc had to figure out what to do with the worthless ones they have on pallets laying around. It would wipe them out overnight. And completely destabilize the market. Theory I've always wondered about. Is the war on drugs enough of a war to do that? I guess it's really not a war then, is it?
  10. @Roger Odisio Bad news. Neither Brazil, Russia, India, China or South Africa have judicial systems making up a significant portion of their country's governance. Capital will not invest to the degree needed for BRICS to be able to offer a stronger currency. Not going to happen. To wit: go throw your 401k into any of them. The risk is junk bond. No recourse in the event of a loss. Your BRICS Oligarchs will sure be happy though as they flee unimpeded with your retirement.
  11. Fair enough but how many COULD be available in a large city already responding to an assissination of POTUS? I can't imagine there weren't already dozens of helpful citizens calling in all manner of sightings - or was that the only one? I don't know but per DVPs post the identification of the suspect seems threadbare enough to call into question a major response to the sighting while everyone is supposed to be after an assassin. Throw in the undeniable bungling and outright corruption of every other aspect of the DPD and it all doesn't add up. It's too pat. And it doesn't take everyone to be in on it as DVP tries to infer while speculating about the reasons behind the response.
  12. Not very convincing retort. I For one am surprised this clown show avoided a twelve car pile up ala Keystone Cops outside the theater. You'd think at least a few of the 26 would be out looking for the assassin of the President except it was a foregone conclusion decided well before their response that he was at the theater. Because of a description of a medium height guy in a brown suit? Aren't we supposed to swallow whole the idea of how unreliable eyewitnesses are even when they're two feet away from a murder? Of course I'm not going into the undeniable fact that these same people can't figure out how to close a door. This portion of the entire response is just another wormy fish in a hold full of them. Hope ya like the metaphor.
  13. They're busy derailing the thread critiquing some grammatical errors in Jim's article. Hall monitors.
  14. Get off the cross Mark. We need the firewood. (Note: comma intentionally left out to evoke more outrage).
  15. Because @David Von Pein and @Mark Ulrik are busy being hall monitors?
  16. Hi Gayle. @Roger Odisio and I had an offline conversation regarding the film and I had a few suggestions I could forward along if you're interested. Message me and I'll read you into the conversation offline. BN
  17. Hahaha! Must have your satellite in geosynchronous orbit above!
  18. Still ranks for sports in NY. I think most people in NY don't think much of it otherwise. I don't either. That said, the stories get picked up on various news aggregators so that's good.
  19. Congrats Jim! I assume you're out on your yacht around Catalina celebrating the extra residuals.
  20. I checked on PACER and have only found the case number but no documents. 1:2023cv00704 UPDATE: I found it. Will post somewhere and provide link as it's behind a pay wall. Since I have to pay for these I will not be posting exhibits. Let me know if those are important to you. Thar ya go. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1h1AZFbxX4RK0mB_99dlCiEu5UFXg-aL2/view?usp=share_link
  21. Indisputable. I don't know what the problem is. It's an objective fact the bullet was misidentified if it was actually CE573. End of story. This error is so simple and elementary it's on a par with the DPD not having sufficient knowledge to close a door.
