Was it publicly known then like it is now that JFK was having affairs with different women?

I've always believed if she was indeed killed the mob had a role and not the Kennedy's. They may have not been saints in their private life but there is no way I could see them having someone killed.

I haven't gotten a chance to finish her book yet I was just repeating what you had said earlier. I dont think I remember ever reading Ruby idolized Mickey Cohen. I thought he looked up to Lewis McWillie or that's what I've always read in other books.

Seen that for the 1st time a few years ago. I agree that it shocking that it was allowed to get made and even more shocking to me that major actors at that time accepted the roles.

Considering there was the voter drive, why don't you think that they just didnt go back another day? Why risk being seen by so many people? I've never understood that part of it.

James Douglas covered this a briefly in JFK and The Unspeakable. I dont think other names of the arrested were ever released just Valle. I have a a couple files on my computer. If you give me a few min I can go and get them. There is an FBI file that says an informant named "Lee" tipped them off to the plot. The Chicago police or SS released some files around the time of the JFK movie about the arrest.

Any books by Mr. Rohde you can recommend? I'm not familiar with his work. I've heard of him from the Dallas action podcast but dont recall ever seeing his books anywhere

I 100% believe he was an informant gathering info on exile groups for the FBI and the CIA. They used him and he didnt realize it until it was too late. The expression he makes when the reporter tell him he's been charged with killing the president says it all

I always believed he was told to ignore him myself. As an Irish catholic and a democrat you'd think he was a supporter of Kennedy. Ive read other agents would tease him or make comments about him liking Kennedy. That could have been said just to cover himself though.

You're welcome. While I strongly believe he was being impersonated all over I'm not a big proponent of Armstrongs two Oswalds theory. Makes you kind of second guess it though if this was going on in 1961.
