  1. That's great, I look forward to your report, Jamey! One thing, as you stand upon the pedestal: imagine the Stemmons Freeway sign being where it was that day, and figure out for me if the average joe wouldn't have taken a different vantage point.
  2. Thanks. Member-wise, I'm "in," if you know what I mean (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).
  3. I'm about half-way into the four hour version, Destiny Betrayed. Even though I've lurked here so intensively the last few years, there are definitely "whoa, I didn't know that" passages which distinguish it from the two-hour version.
  4. That's a welcome opinion piece, James, with a proper focus on the document trail. I am sure you know that when one is pointing out anomalous behavior by the Dallas trip planners, including the Secret Service on and around 11-22-63, one can make additions. No effort to have cops and agents posted atop buildings en route or to secure windows along the route as per procedure. The police posted at street level thinned to zero just at the turn from Houston to Elm. County Sheriff's entire department does nothing and watches it happen. Reordering of vehicles in the motorcade put Kennedy way ahead in the procession; press went well behind Kennedy rather than right in front of him, as was customary; distance between JFK and his physician was increased. Security stripping at the airport and during the attack went beyond drawing down Dallas Police motorcycle outriders; Secret Service agents were ordered to hold their positions rather than try to shield Kennedy. That's just off the top of my head.
  5. This thread is not only back from exile, it is now pinned. An epic, whirlwind trip. No one even had to update the title to say "Fifty-Eight." When the conversation here steers towards the question was January 6, 2021 a real coup, or a Sears coup, that's JFK assassination territory. So, once again, welcome back, TIEROOLFY. No end to fodder for this thread.
  6. Oh, for heaven's sake. I have plenty of gripes to do with Biden. I will grant you, Ben, "timid." He needs to expand the Supreme Court, and he needs to pick up about twelve seats in the Senate. And/or jettison the filibuster. But I'm encouraged by progressive-lite Biden, much better than the hack and shill I took him to be. That so little has gotten better is in my view simply a reflection of how well and truly hog-tied the U.S. is after decades of division, financialization, globalization and militarism.
  7. Back of the shirt, not the front, but, works for me. Angling down upon the T3 river.
  8. I am appreciating your posts, Jean Paul. Please keep them coming. G. DeM. was I figure a piece of work.
  9. What caught my eye was this portion of an account of Abe's assassin: Anyone have an idea which "certain organization" this might be?
  10. My plan is to read pretty much all his writings, still on a crazy-long to-read list.
  11. He may be doing both. I thought volume five was to be a study of the JFKA it's own self.
  12. I think my DVD/blu-ray set will arrive Monday. Got the book a couple of weeks ago.
  13. Thank you, Adam, I am climbing in off the window ledge, even as we speak. There is no place like home. There is no place like home. There is..
  14. I feel like I'm climbing a ladder of assumptions. Inevitable, perhaps, with this murder. A short (undercharged) shot, which barely penetrated Kennedy's back, fell out into the limo, and then was picked up by Kinney, who, aghast, began tidying up the limo, only to come to his senses and desist. Yet he went on and planted the bullet at Parkland. A conscientious Secret Service agent, say, who didn't have his head screwed on right at that time. Was he one of the ones out clubbing and drinking the night before? I'll have to consult my copy of Survivor's Guilt to see. As far as I'm concerned, each and every one of the agents who were carousing the night before 22 November demonstrated consciousness of what was to come. It is nice to have a notion what became of the bullet causing Kennedy's back wound. I especially like that bullet not being made of ice, and delivering a paralytic agent. But what was the point of firing a short round at Kennedy in the first place? Or was it a misfire, a defective round? Analysis of the MC ammunition, as a class, showed it to be largely uniform in its manufacture, making it less likely, it seems to me, that a short round was unintentional. If a shot to the back of his skull transited to exit Kennedy's throat, would that have caused him to reach up and grab at his throat, at a neat little hole, resembling an entrance wound, and sized like the wound from a .22 caliber shell? A back to front shot exiting his throat would not have come from much of an elevated position, I don't think, and, whether from the South Knoll, or behind Kennedy, you are still left with the question of what became of the throat shot bullet. Disappeared by (fill in the blank) (A) Secret Service, (B) FBI, (C) autopsists. And then, I presume, Kennedy took two more shots to the head, higher up, delivered nearly simultaneously. Counting the shot that missed, hit the curb and struck James Tague, that makes five shots. Whoops, I forgot Connally. Six shots. Of course, not many earwitnesses came up with that number. And it's a heavy lift for one furshlugginer Mannlicher Carcano. I guess conspiracists, knowing the government would "fix it in the mix," wouldn't be counting how many shots they were taking. My. Head. Hurts.
  15. Thanks. This dates to from between 2003 and 2011 during Olbermann's MSNBC tenure. It wasn't this bit that got Keith fired, was it? The bullet fragments in the National Archives could still be re-tested, even if destructively, and potentially demonstrate that there was more than one shooter with one Mannlicher Carcano rifle.* That's a more promising way forward than exhuming Kennedy's body, it seems to me. *They never tested the rifle they found to make sure it had been fired that day. Isn't that so?
  16. Mysterious rocket crash creates odd double crater on moon. Rocket spotted headed for the Moon late in 2021. I gather the trajectory indicated it was terrestrial in origin. From the nature and size of the craters formed, the rocket must have had significant mass at both ends, despite being pretty small, and/or not traveling very fast. No one has claimed responsibility.
  17. Dog and pony show. Another demonstration of WC contrivance. Thanks, Gil.
