Oswald was left-wing and into guns. The notion that only conservatives are into guns doesn't add up.

The recent assassination attempt by Crooks on former president Trump provides an interesting opportunity for comparison between him and Lee Harvey Oswald. Some comparisons of note include: LHO was young (24). TMC was young (20). LHO was a loner. TMC was a loner. LHO was bullied (in school, and the marines). TMC was bullied (in school). LHO was intelligent (read a lot of books). TMC was intelligent (won a school math aware). LHO enjoyed playing chess. TMC enjoyed playing chess. LHO was involved in debates (on the radio in N.O.). TMC was involved in debates (school debates). LHO in his teens was interested in military service. TMC in his teens, according to a former classmate, was interested in military service. LHO wore camouflage (in the marines). TMC wore camouflage to school. LHO liked guns (as confirmed by Adrian Alba in N.O.). TMC liked guns. LHO was interesting in bomb making. TMC was interested in bomb making. LHO involved himself in contradictory positions (FPCC & DRE). I wonder if his primary motivation was just to get in the history books. Sad way to throw away your life.

The sniper was challenged on the roof by local law enforcement just seconds before the shooting. Apparently the shooter aimed the rifle at the law enforcement officer on the roof, who apparently ducked for cover. Then the shooter turned and began shooting at Trump. It appears therefore he was rushed into shooting at Trump. This might explain why he missed.

What was he, a libertarian?

I'm not so sure. The AR15 rifle belonged to his father, and the father was a democrat. Democrats own AR15s too.

There is a difference between being a registered Republican and actually being a Republican. Oswald for example attended a Walker rally. That didn't mean he was a Walker supporter. He was infiltrating the rally. Oswald offered to train the DRE. That didn't mean he actually supported the DRE. He was infiltrating the DRE. Hopefully as the days go by we will get a clearer picture of this guy, who he was, his motives and so on.

I believe he was heavily involved in the theory there was a gunman visible on the grassy knoll in the nix film.

The counter sniper team look to be in disarray in this video once the shooter began shooting.

Lessons will be learned from this. All those "A" roofs provided cover for a sniper to crawl into position without being seen until the last moment when he actually fired.

It appears a shot grazed his ear. My goodness, could have been Dallas all over again.

Ok, I thought his FB page says he is showing over 100+ new never before seen photos in a new book. I thought maybe these were the photos that had been stolen.

So the photos have been found? Hopefully they help shed some light on the assassination.

I wonder if the second MOS could refer to a second duty LHO had in Japan, which would be working as an intelligence asset at the Queen Bee. Is it possible that such intelligence roles had an obscure MOS to conceal the fact the marine was working in intelligence? In this case they might have taken advantage of the fact LHO was studying Russian and put down his second MOS as "Russian" as a cover for his intelligence work. That might even be why LHO took the Russian language test even though the marines did not give him Russian lessons. The test was part of his cover as an intelligence asset so they could put down "Russian" as his second MOS and issue payment for that second role. I don't know though if it was standard practise for intelligence assets to have such a second MOS concealed in this way.
