Well, I just took a small peek at some of the documents in the first box - this would REALLY be a "project" to sift through all the info, but I'm glad it IS online ('tho I SUSPECT that the info is somewhat "skewed," on general principles), and there appear to be quite a number of duplicate scannings of certain documents. I plan on looking through each "box" of documents in order to see if there's is ANYTHING that hasn't already been "done to death" in the JFK assassination corridor. I'll be back, as time permits, for opinions from "brighter lights than mine" about what (if anything) I find there. Hope everyone is well!

The Good Lord willing that I should live so long (most of my forebears HAVE), in 2038 I will be 80 years old, and I agree with YOUR statement: that I will be too old and tired to do MUCH of anything about this PIVOTAL incident in American History. But I plan on lighting a fire in people to DEMAND the truth - UNREDACTED and UNCENSORED - from whatever documents that will come to light at that time (may we all live healthily and happily until that day!) I came to this forum for the specific reason of getting information from the various "credible" sources - in order to perhaps pull together a TEAM of experts: legal-eagles, historians, former government agents (from our delightful "alphabet-soup" array of same) and JFK assassination theory experts - and ALL of us work toward getting the records which are sealed until 2038 UN-SEALED! I figure that with enough BRAINPOWER - and I see a LOT of it here - TOGETHER, somehow, we might figure out: 1. HOW to go about UN-sealing those records, prior to 2038 and, 2. to ESTABLISH a LEGAL PRECEDENT preventing THAT from EVER happening again. Who is 'being protected' by these records...and WHY? Lily...don't despair. There are only two or three provocateurs on this otherwise fine website who are causing all the stink. Do not pay any attention to them. Virtually all their postings lie or twist the truth. You will soon recognize who they are. They only deal in personal attacks. Just ignore them. There are many good members here, most of whom also post on JFKresearch Forum run by Rich DellaRosa. You may want to check it out. Rich does not allow such behavior. It might some good information which I hope to be able to contribute to the various forums, ESPECIALLY the JFK assassination debate. At the same time, I also received a print-out of OTHER "Books in Print PLUS, with book reviews, a 1 1/2 page printout of the Titles, Authors, Prices, Dates of print as well as ISBN #'s. Bear in mind that "I" am not a "Joiner", so my appearance in this forum is for this specific reason: to find out WHO knows WHAT information which may prove useful in answering (and hopefully, RESOLVING) the lingering questions. My plan is to cull through this list of books to find those which are most helpful and accurate (via the library first - if the book proves itself worthy, then I will add it to my budding collection). I have only been a member for a week...I am surprised at the factionism - although I WILL say, that since the age of 5, I have been fascinated by the subject. My mother NEVER cried, about ANYTHING, and this was the first time I had seen HER grieving, SOBBING (AND she was NOT a Kennedy fan!). I certainly didn't KNOW what was going on at that time, I just remember the moment and event being INDELIBLY impressed upon my mind FOREVER. Then on one BRIGHT June morning in 1968, school had just gotten out for the summer, I came downstairs, and my mother was crying again (NEVER HAPPENS, trust ME!); she said, and I quote: "THE godd*mn b*stards did it again!!" and threw the morning paper on the table - RFK shot and killed at the Convention...headlines as "big as a HOUSE..." I followed what PUBLIC aspects (regarding the JFK assassination) which were "allowed" to come to light via the newspapers' "tightly controlled coverage" of the "Warren Commission's Investigation" - and have since READ books and THOUGHT (proleptically, I might add!) about the whole assassination, the theories, possible conspiracies or conspiratorial factions, viewed what evidence and photos which the Misters Livingstone and Groden could convey in their book: "High Treason" and I respect the fact that THEIRS was NOT the ONLY monumental undertaking about this subject. IF there are ANY former CIA agents, Secret Service people, and the like...(from that specific era)... who are willing "tell what they know," they should DO IT HERE (and could do so in RELATIVE ANONYMITY!) ..enlighten us, PLEASE? It would be far more porductive that the personal "salvos" which I see being "fired" herein...am I incorrect? My name is Julia - I "go by" the name Lily Lighto as a tongue-in-cheek reference to the movie "Donnie Darko". I will have my own website soon, incorporating elements of all of the items listed below - pretty eclectic, huh? I currently live in Seattle WA USA - and for the past 35 years have made an informal study of comparative world religions; I understand the basics of Physics as made very clear to me in Stephen Hawking's book: "A Brief History of Time" and Fred Alan Wolf's "Parallel Unverses" - I am studying metaphysics; and I teach classes in "Magickal Principles" with a Celtic Magick focus. I don't believe in the concept of "blind patriotism" - ALWAYS in the name of PEACE has the blood been shed of ALL of the "Best and Brightest" of our youth who, being whipped into a patriotic frenzy or as a call to "being one of the "FAITHFUL," find that it is NEITHER patriotic NOR being "faithful" to one's "GOD" - I believe it is just plain stupid - to KILL in the name of PEACE! Other historical figures, insofar as there is any accurately documented information available: Marcus Aurelius - as a wise and just man who left several "scholarly" records behind for us to study and to learn from - I read a compilation of his works when I was 11 years old - it's STILL common sense and VALID today! Jesus Christ's life and His death (as presented, NOT ONLY in the synoptic gospels, but as foretold of in the Old Testament) as a template for living a moral life; not just as a once-a-week "feel good fix" opiate of the masses. Mohammed as a "prophet of the ideal of unification" bringing about peace between many different "warring" factors. Islam itself is NOT the enemy... Mohandas Ghandi as a "leader and advocate" of PEACEFUL resolutions to problems. If you share any of these interests or have additional information which would shed MORE light upon these lives and provide insight into the ACTIONS and the SPIRIT of the people whom I have listed, I would LOVE to hear from you. I enjoy a good debate, but will not get drawn into "arguments," as I am always willing to see theother person's point of view... Denis Diderot said that: "Ignorance is less remote from truth than prejudice," and there was an anonymous saying I recently heard/read: "Thinking is not KNOWING as Looking is NOT seeing..." John, Thank you for your kind note, about the length of my posting - you are right, I am informed of the "supposed" KNOWN facts - however, I am VERY glad to see these "brighter lights than MINE..." shining in the darkness of mis-information, deliberate dis-information and outright LIES told to the American People, not only at the time of the assassination, but throughout the intervening years. I do have a question that perhaps you can help provide an answer to: WHY are all of the documents - those that ARE "sealed," STILL sealed until something like the year 2038?? Did "they" figure that ALL of the culpable figures involved would be dead by then? I truly don't understand - the "sealing" of these records - and WHY the American People (especially AFTER Oliver Stone's movie came out!) haven't DEMANDED the UN-sealing of these records...! ( ? ) I WOULD demand it, if I knew just exactly WHAT it is that I am looking for, and how to LEGALLY go about doing it here in the States...all I have heard are the "rumors" - unsubtantiat(ed) - (-able?) - which are confusing and obfuscating at best! I am so glad to see that OTHERS can see through the "Illusions" - I personally use "allusions" and I take the time to explain HOW I came to my POV - your view seems well-thought out and...I think I might be able to add a LOT more information for the NEWBIES... For YEARS, I've "felt" that the dis-"ILLUSIONISTS" have mis-directed the public's attention for their little "magic" trick OF KILLING A PRESIDENT on NATIONAL TV (and GETTING AWAY with it!). The CENTRAL thread of the Kennedy assassination is NOT about the Anti-Castro Cubans OR the "alleged" MAFIA 'connexion' The NEXUS of this whole issue boils down to WHO knew WHAT and WHO DID what and WHEN, and HOW...I've added my WHY?? It is intertwined with my whole mind-set and particular way of "looking at and perceiving things" - may I? ...Perhaps my little rant (below / which follows:) will at least encourage people to investigate further, and GET THE answers to the following questions for themselves.... 1. WHO STOOD TO GAIN THE MOST? --> JOHNSON 2. WHERE did the assassination HAPPEN? -->Dallas, TEXAS - Johnson's home state... 3. WHEN did it Happen? --> ONLY 2 months AFTER JFK had signed an Executive Order (as THE COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF of the military, and as ONE WHO ACTUALLY SERVED a FULL tour of duty on ACTIVE STATUS!): ORDERING the withdrawal of U.S. Military personnel from Viet Nam and South East Asia, altogether....at that time, the U.S. had approximately 125,000 military personnel stationed in SE Asia/VN - JFK had ORDERED the troops home; --> OMG!!! The Military-Industrial Complex "...HAD to DO something" about this 'young, charismatic, idealistic, possibly naive, UPSTART'..." who actually PROMOTED A PEACEFUL resolution to problems (I BELIEVE that he HAD LEARNED a HUGE lesson with the 'Bay of Pigs' disaster-piece, and HE DID SOMETHING ABOUT IT: he set about rectifying the situation in Viet Nam...) Because Viet Nam was a battle that had raged in and around the MEKONG DELTA for over 3,000 years - "whoever CONTROLS the waterways, controls the COMMERCE, controls the DELTA!"... and...JFK's thoughts: "...since WE COULDN'T WIN IT, let's not stay in it...this crap has been going on 'over there' for 3,000 years, it's an internal domestic problem - let THEM duke it out!" He gained control of this country’s political processes at approximately 1:00 pm on November 22, 1963, when it was announced that President Kennedy had died from his “injuries,” and Johnson KNEW that he had just become “the President…” even before he was SWORN IN, or the INK dry on JFK's "Death Certificate; he almost IMMEDIATELY rescinded JFK's Exec Order and ISSUED his own, which ESCALATED and accelerated the war in Viet Nam - JUST ask Peter Jenning's - he was a "cub reporter" in his helmet and flak-jacket..."reporting from the de-militarized zone..." - A FIXTURE on the nightly news when I was growing up! ....a. The assassination has been proven "beyond a shadow of a doubt" to have been achieved by the cooperation of the CIA's & the FBI's "rogue agents". (This answers the questions: WHO could "pull it off?" and "HOW did they do it?”) CROSSFIRE- it is the ONLY LOGICAL explanation and, since it is the MOST basic of ground warfare tactics and strategies, it would account for the ACTIONS of the supposedly "Magic Bullet," (For now, let us set aside completely the FACT that the Magic Bullet wasn't EVER even fired from a gun!) Aside from being found in "pristine" condition, this "Magic Bullet” had DEFIED all known "Laws of Physics”- those “laws” pertaining to vectors, angles, trajectories, and ballistics! It has since been proven, with OTHER bullets, that it simply COULD NOT have happened the way in which it was described to the American People, NOR even in the way that the Warren Commission investigators were TOLD that it happened! 2. The charges against Lee Harvey Oswald (with the media's "focus" being deliberately "mis-directed" toward the "Lone Gunman" Theory), were NEVER filed - he was detained by the DALLAS police, IN violation of ALL criminal procedures known and IN EFFECT AT THE TIME, then HE, too, was "assassinated" (sacrificed?) by a lone (?) gunman, in the garage of the DALLAS Police Station...(?) Are we detecting ANY PATTERN here? Thus was Oswald disposed of "neatly" and "completely", yet not so "very sweetly" - pure and SIMPLE - HE KNEW TOO MUCH! ....a. HE COULD NOT HAVE SHOT KENNEDY! Oswald was merely an "average shot" at his BEST, in the military, where he was ranked, by his OWN superior officers, as an "average" marksman. He was certainly NEVER ranked ”of sniper quality" with firearms while in the military....it's ridiculous to EVEN consider the notion that HE fired FROM THAT DISTANCE, using the bolt / lever action rifle that "they found” (translate: “planted”) in the Texas School Book Depository, MUCH LESS could OSWALD have HIT President Kennedy, 1.in the FRONT OF THE THROAT, 2. in the UPPER BACK, and then 3. to BLOW the BACK of the President’s head off, then for this SAME “pristine and magical bullet” to HIT the then-Governor of TEXAS, John Connolly, in the right wrist and then AGAIN in his LEFT THIGH! TWO MOVING Targets…and AT the very minimum: BLOWING FIVE holes in TWO bodies with ONE BULLET THAT WAS NEVER FIRED FROM A GUN!!! …………………………………… Think about it…...........it's "Something Different"...yet relative... b. The "not-so" Secret Service had OTHER aspects of the MOTORCADE covered, too; when the driver of the limousine SLOWED to 10 miles per hour...in COMPLETE DEFIANCE of all known Secret Service "Presidential Protection Squad" rules, which back then and on up to this day REQUIRE the speed of the Presidential Limo to be AT LEAST 25 miles per hour…! It's completely ludicrous!! ....It is "Something Different"...yet relative..... c. I believe that the majority of the local Secret Service branch agency WERE, INDEED, SPECIFICALLY pulled OUT of service on THAT day, (by LBJ, ... through those who “owed him favors” in DALLAS and I might add, LBJ used his contacts via the "good ol' boy network" of the Ivy League "Skull & Bones Society" -a WELL-KNOWN 'secret society' of the RICH, powerful and privileged SONS OF THE OLIGARCHY), ESPECIALLY back in the 1960's, when the IVY LEAGUE schools were the PROMINENT & PREDOMINANT recruiting ground for the CIA AND the FBI: whenever they sought NEW "agents," HARVARD, YALE and M.I.T. were some of the Ivy League schools at which they recruited). IT IS NOT "patriotism," at all – that definition of PATRIOTISM suggests, fosters and PROMOTES the continued existence of the: "lines on the maps, moving from side to side" thus, ”patriotism” = "partisanism," “nationalism,” "separatism," and continues IT’S GIGANTIC STRIDES, trampling over the “little guy,” merely to serve the “Privileged Few” in their "political endgames" ...when the TRUTH – as I SEE IT - IS: the only "ENDGAME" is ONE of GLOBAL PROPORTIONS: 1. Cooperation between ALL nations toward the MUTUAL SHARING & REDISTRIBUTION of the vast resources found in VARIOUS areas of the world between ALL areas of the world, and, (but you'd have to END GREED!) 2. Economic Equality, based upon INDIVIDUAL EFFORT, NOT "PARTISAN PRIVILEGE." (but you'd have to EDUCATE the populace, ONLY THEN will emerge the "VOX POPULI!") The “everyday person,” working toward these TWO goals, will soon enough SHOW the "WAR-mongrels" of the Military-Industrial COMPLEX, and their "power-BROKERS," that WE, THE PEOPLE, ARE TAKING IT INTO OUR OWN hands to WORK TOWARD these goals OURSELVES - cutting THEM and THEIR illusory "witchdoctor cures" of "WAR" and "politics" (ie: THEY GET "RICH" while the rest of the world goes to bed HUNGRY, every night, and lives a shoeless, homeless, foodless, nomadic and/or rootless existence, EVERYDAY because of those "WAR PIGS"! STOP “FEEDING” THEM – ALTOGETHER! ALL TOGETHER, WE, YOU and ME will starve THEM to death! ELIMINATE GREED! ELIMINATE INEQUITY! STOP the madness, people – PLEASE! STOP being "xenophobes" (defined as: an irrational fear of foreigners), and learn about OTHER countries, other CULTURES, other planetary resources.... WE CAN ALL SHARE THIS PLANET! STOP the MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX via “ousting’” it’s PRO-ponents!
