As shown by the post above referring to Gannaway as essentially a traffic cop among federal, state, and local intelligence officers, I think Gannaway is an extremely important figure to look at squarely. It looks to me that Deputy Chief Lumpkin and Gannaway are the ones who spread the phony saga of the non-existent "roll call" and the lie that Oswald being the "only employee missing".
