Guest
John Simkin became the forum's first "super member" today. Can any one think of a suitable award for this achievement?

Maggie Jarvis
Congratulations John! Without your interest and enthusiasm (and that of the other administrators and regular posters of course), the forum would not be as dynamic or as interesting as it is. 'Super John' is certainly an achievement! What happens at the 2000th post I would like to know though?? Cheers!

John Simkin
Thank you for your kind comments. Although I am an opinionated old sod, the main objective of my posting so much is to encourage contributions from others. I have rightly been accused of sometimes trying too hard to stimulate debate (I should point out that I am not guilty of arguing things I do not believe). It is true I have been responsible for 16% of all posts. As this is a democratic and cooperative effort, it could be argued that I have a 16% holding in the forum. I look forward to holding a smaller share.
