First off, Warren admitted in 1972 that Johnson feared a nuclear war if Cubans were involved in the assassination. Warren said that President Johnson was worried “that Soviet Premier Khrushchev and Cuba’s Premier Castro might have been involved in the assassination.” Warren “was invited to the White House by Mr. Johnson who ‘told me he felt conditions around the world were so bad at the moment that he thought it might even get us into a war; a nuclear war.’” Two hours before going to the White House, “Mr. Warren said that he had advised the President’s brother, Robert F. Kennedy, that he did not believe a Chief Justice should undertake non-judicial duties while sitting on the Supreme Court.” “Warren also related that Mr. Johnson said he had asked for a report from Defense Secretary Robert S. McNamara for an estimate on how many Americans would be killed in a Soviet nuclear attack. He said that Mr. Johnson had told him he was given a figure of 60,000,000 . . . The former Chief Justice said that the President’s concern had caused him to agree to head the inquiry.” (New York Times, 12-9-72) The CIA manufactured information that Cubans had done it, and Jim Garrison followed the Cuban connection right up to the CIA's doorstep. In May 1967, “District Attorney Jim Garrison says that Lee Harvey Oswald did not kill President Kennedy and the Central Intelligence Agency knows who did.” “‘Purely and simply it’s a case of former employees of the CIA, a large number of them Cubans, having a venomous reaction from the 1961 Bay of Pigs episode. Certain individuals with a fusion of interests in regaining Cuba assassinated the President,’ Mr. Garrison says.” “Mr. Garrison said that the agency knew ‘the name of every man involved and the name of the individuals who pulled the triggers’ to kill Mr. Kennedy.” “Mr. Garrison said it would take ‘only 60 minutes for the CIA to give us the name of every last Cuban involved in this and that’s how close we have been to the end for some time, but we are blocked by this glass wall of this totalitarian, powerful agency which is worried about its power.’” (New York Times, 5-23-67) “He repeatedly accused the agency of blocking and attempting to block his investigation, begun last fall.” (Obviously the CIA was the source of information that Cubans were involved.) The Warren Commission didn't reveal information about Cubans because they thought they were saving the world from a nuclear war. That was the plan when they assassinated Kennedy; manufacture information that Cubans did it. The Warren Commission fell for it, Jim Garrison fell for it, and you guys are falling for it. Ron Ecker Posted June 28, 2004 Share Posted June 28, 2004 There is strong evidence that individual anti-Castro Cubans were involved in the assassination, just as there is strong evidence of individual Mafiosi involvement. There's a big difference between that and saying that "Cubans did it" (or "the Mafia did it"). Those who "did it" used Cubans and Mafiosi among others. The CIA also framed individuals and evidence here and there to give their fabricated story more credibility. As I recall, your claim is that KGB officers infiltrated into the FBI were behind the Kennedy assassination. This would mean that the CIA and FBI worked together on this. The CIA planting false evidence, the FBI involved in the killing itself. If this is the case, then the planning of the assassination and set-up started earlier in 1963, since a lot of the evidence and activities related to the Cuban/Mafioso theories takes place in the summer of 1963 in New Orleans. There were 497 KGB officers in the CIA and over 800 double agents who were exposed in 1984 and it was never made public. I know because I tried to expose them for 7 years before everything fell into place in 1984. It was after the death of House Speaker Sam Rayburn in November 1961, and the subsequent election of liberal Representative John W. McCormack of Massachusetts to be Speaker of the House in January 1962, that they actually came up with the idea of killing President Kennedy and then killing President Johnson right before the election. The 25th Amendment to the Constitution, providing for Presidential succession and the appointment of a new Vice President, didn’t become part of the Constitution until February 1967. There was no Vice President on Saturday, October 31, 1964. The law of succession would have resulted in House Speaker John McCormack of Massachusetts becoming President had they succeeded in assassinating President Johnson on Saturday, October 31, 1964. The KGB officers had begun handling intelligence officers targeted for political office starting in the early 1950s, and Barry Goldwater was one of the intelligence officers. As I've stated before, their intention was to have far-right Senator Barry Goldwater elected so that they could exasperate the tense racial situation. They were also counting on Goldwater's support for right-wing dictatorships in third world countries, which would in turn foster communist insurgencies. If they succeeded in killing Johnson, Goldwater would have been elected President 3 days later. The KGB officers that were in the CIA killed President Kennedy. I am so glad to see that OTHERS can see through the "Illusions" - I personally use "allusions" and I take the time to explain HOW I came to my POV - your view seems well-thought out and...I think I might be able to add a LOT more information for the NEWBIES... For YEARS, I've "felt" that the dis-"ILLUSIONISTS" have mis-directed the public's attention for their little "magic" trick OF KILLING A PRESIDENT on NATIONAL TV (and GETTING AWAY with it!). The CENTRAL thread of the Kennedy assassination is NOT about the Anti-Castro Cubans OR the "alleged" MAFIA 'connexion' The NEXUS of this whole issue boils down to WHO knew WHAT and WHO DID what and WHEN, and HOW...I've added my WHY?? It is intertwined with my whole mind-set and particular way of "looking at and perceiving things" - may I? ...Perhaps my little rant (below / which follows:) will at least encourage people to investigate further, and GET THE answers to the following questions for themselves.... 1. WHO STOOD TO GAIN THE MOST? --> JOHNSON 2. WHERE did the assassination HAPPEN? -->Dallas, TEXAS - Johnson's home state... 3. The Military-Industrial Complex "...HAD to DO something" about this 'young, charismatic, idealistic, possibly naive, UPSTART'..." who actually PROMOTED A PEACEFUL resolution to problems (I BELIEVE that he HAD LEARNED a HUGE lesson with the 'Bay of Pigs' disaster-piece, and HE DID SOMETHING ABOUT IT: he set about rectifying the situation in Viet Nam...) I feel that Oliver Stone's movie utilized the BEST of the ALL of the available materials about the Kennedy assassination, even though THIS particular book ("High Treason") was not listed by name in the credits of the movie (…not that I saw, anyway…); a lot of the "theories" are the same, if NOT SIMILAR in nature... highly recommended reading - and I understand that Oliver Stone possibly couldn't POINT a FINGER the the direction in which we'll be heading today - get out the "compasses", folks, we're going "orienteering"! I DO believe that it was the Military-Industrial complex, since it is a known FACT that President John F. Kennedy had signed his Executive Order in SEPTEMBER 1963, ordering the withdrawal of the U.S. military presence in Viet Nam, gradually over a two year time-period. May I share with you the three reasons why I believe LBJ was behind the assassination, IN COOPERATION WITH the "M-I.C."? (M-I.C.= Military-Industrial Complex, for our purposes today…!? 1. LBJ was from Texas, and was the incumbent "Vice President of the U.S.A.” (This answers the question: WHO STANDS TO GAIN THE MOST?) He gained control of this country’s political processes at approximately 1:00 pm on November 22, 1963, when it was announced that President Kennedy had died from his “injuries,” and Johnson KNEW that he had just become “the President…” even before he was SWORN IN, or the INK dry on JFK's "Death Certificate; he almost IMMEDIATELY rescinded JFK's Exec Order and ISSUED his own, which ESCALATED and accelerated the war in Viet Nam - JUST ask Peter Jenning's - he was a "cub reporter" in his helmet and flak-jacket..."reporting from the de-militarized zone..." - A FIXTURE on the nightly news when I was growing up! ....a. The assassination has been proven "beyond a shadow of a doubt" to have been achieved by the cooperation of the CIA's & the FBI's "rogue agents". (This answers the questions: WHO could "pull it off?" and "HOW did they do it?”) CROSSFIRE- it is the ONLY LOGICAL explanation and, since it is the MOST basic of ground warfare tactics and strategies, it would account for the ACTIONS of the supposedly "Magic Bullet," (For now, let us set aside completely the FACT that the Magic Bullet wasn't EVER even fired from a gun!) Aside from being found in "pristine" condition, this "Magic Bullet” had DEFIED all known "Laws of Physics”- those “laws” pertaining to vectors, angles, trajectories, and ballistics! It has since been proven, with OTHER bullets, that it simply COULD NOT have happened the way in which it was described to the American People, NOR even in the way that the Warren Commission investigators were TOLD that it happened! 2. The charges against Lee Harvey Oswald (with the media's "focus" being deliberately "mis-directed" toward the "Lone Gunman" Theory), were NEVER filed - he was detained by the DALLAS police, IN violation of ALL criminal procedures known and IN EFFECT AT THE TIME, then HE, too, was "assassinated" (sacrificed?) by a lone (?) gunman, in the garage of the DALLAS Police Station...(?) Are we detecting ANY PATTERN here? Thus was Oswald disposed of "neatly" and "completely", yet not so "very sweetly" - pure and SIMPLE - HE KNEW TOO MUCH! ....a. HE COULD NOT HAVE SHOT KENNEDY! Oswald was merely an "average shot" at his BEST, in the military, where he was ranked, by his OWN superior officers, as an "average" marksman. He was certainly NEVER ranked ”of sniper quality" with firearms while in the military....it's ridiculous to EVEN consider the notion that HE fired FROM THAT DISTANCE, using the bolt / lever action rifle that "they found” (translate: “planted”) in the Texas School Book Depository, MUCH LESS could OSWALD have HIT President Kennedy, 1.in the FRONT OF THE THROAT, 2. in the UPPER BACK, and then 3. to BLOW the BACK of the President’s head off, then for this SAME “pristine and magical bullet” to HIT the then-Governor of TEXAS, John Connolly, in the right wrist and then AGAIN in his LEFT THIGH! TWO MOVING Targets…and AT the very minimum: BLOWING FIVE holes in TWO bodies with ONE BULLET THAT WAS NEVER FIRED FROM A GUN!!! …………………………………… Think about it…...........it's "Something Different"...yet relative... b. The "not-so" Secret Service had OTHER aspects of the MOTORCADE covered, too; when the driver of the limousine SLOWED to 10 miles per hour...in COMPLETE DEFIANCE of all known Secret Service "Presidential Protection Squad" rules, which back then and on up to this day REQUIRE the speed of the Presidential Limo to be AT LEAST 25 miles per hour…! It's completely ludicrous!! ....It is "Something Different"...yet relative..... c. I believe that the majority of the local Secret Service branch agency WERE, INDEED, SPECIFICALLY pulled OUT of service on THAT day, (by LBJ, ... through those who “owed him favors” in DALLAS and I might add, LBJ used his contacts via the "good ol' boy network" of the Ivy League "Skull & Bones Society" -a WELL-KNOWN 'secret society' of the RICH, powerful and privileged SONS OF THE OLIGARCHY), ESPECIALLY back in the 1960's, when the IVY LEAGUE schools were the PROMINENT & PREDOMINANT recruiting ground for the CIA AND the FBI: whenever they sought NEW "agents," HARVARD, YALE and M.I.T. were some of the Ivy League schools at which they recruited). With their "underground network of communications" - they had PLANNED JFK's assassination, and that HE (LBJ) had given...."direct orders from the White House"....for ALL phases of the "set-up," GUIDING IT ALL - straight to, and through ALL of the events in Dallas,TEXAS, on November 22nd, 1963. The FACTS show that, when Johnson had BARELY been sworn in as President, he NOT ONLY rescinded President Kennedy's Executive Order #______ to withdraw OUR military personnel from Viet Nam & South East Asia; JOHNSON ALSO then ISSUED an Executive Order of HIS OWN #________ , which then accelerated and ESCALATED the war in Viet Nam. (This answers the question: TO WHAT PURPOSE, and by what MEANS are the “ends” achieved?) WAR is NOT peace - Slavery is NOT freedom! 2+2 STILL DO NOT MAKE 5! I have read George Orwell’s “1984”; Aldous Huxley’s “Brave New World”; Livingstone & Groden’s monumental undertaking “High Treason”, Neil Sheehan’s “A Bright and Shining Lie” – about the war in Viet Nam; John Marks' "The CIA and Mind Control - The Search for the 'Manchurian Candidate' " - my own copy published in 1980, so WHO KNOWS how much has been "edited out" since then - it was HIGHLY controversial in its day; his book prior to THIS one was CENSORED by the U.S. Government, yet somehow STILL became a bestseller - Its title: "The CIA and the Cult of Intelligence." I have, as well, undertaken a study of World History AND – separately – Comparative World Religions - The writers which I have previously named, are writers who have proven to ME, this one bare-bones FACT: That it does NOT MATTER, WHATSOEVER one's religion, race, color, creed, or location on the globe that is OUR MUTUAL home, whomever and wherever you may happen to be.... In the “NAME of PEACE”... Blood has always been shed! WAR IS BIG BUSINESS - "Got an economic depression? Throw a 'war'," - thus it is that the Military-Industrial Complex "insiders" co-opt "privileged" information, then they invest (...taking this CONFIDENTIAL 'advance notice' into consideration, of course...!) and grow rich. Thus it is, while our nations' (PLURAL, not "possessive") young men and women in EVERY military system IN THE WORLD "serve" an IDEAL which DOES NOT exist! Then they die in a WAR, whether it be a worldly war (one for gaining possession of a resource or of a parcel of land) or a "jihad" (a HOLY WAR), and are considered "patriotic" and/or "faithful" for doing so...it is NEITHER patriotic NOR "faith-FULL" to KILL in the name of one's Country OR of one's GOD! IT IS NOT "patriotism," at all – that definition of PATRIOTISM suggests, fosters and PROMOTES the continued existence of the: "lines on the maps, moving from side to side" thus, ”patriotism” = "partisanism," “nationalism,” "separatism," and continues IT’S GIGANTIC STRIDES, trampling over the “little guy,” merely to serve the “Privileged Few” in their "political endgames" ...when the TRUTH – as I SEE IT - IS: the only "ENDGAME" is ONE of GLOBAL PROPORTIONS: 1. Cooperation between ALL nations toward the MUTUAL SHARING & REDISTRIBUTION of the vast resources found in VARIOUS areas of the world between ALL areas of the world, and, (but you'd have to END GREED!) 2. Economic Equality, based upon INDIVIDUAL EFFORT, NOT "PARTISAN PRIVILEGE." (but you'd have to EDUCATE the populace, ONLY THEN will emerge the "VOX POPULI!") The “everyday person,” working toward these TWO goals, will soon enough SHOW the "WAR-mongrels" of the Military-Industrial COMPLEX, and their "power-BROKERS," that WE, THE PEOPLE, ARE TAKING IT INTO OUR OWN hands to WORK TOWARD these goals OURSELVES - cutting THEM and THEIR illusory "witchdoctor cures" of "WAR" and "politics" (ie: THEY GET "RICH" while the rest of the world goes to bed HUNGRY, every night, and lives a shoeless, homeless, foodless, nomadic and/or rootless existence, EVERYDAY because of those "WAR PIGS"! I am so glad to see that OTHERS can see through the "Illusions" - I personally use "allusions" and I take the time to explain HOW I came to my POV - your view seems well-thought out and...I think I might be able to add a LOT more information for the NEWBIES...For YEARS, I've "felt" that the dis-"ILLUSIONISTS" have mis-directed the public's attention for their little "magic" trick OF KILLING A PRESIDENT on NATIONAL TV (and GETTING AWAY with it!). The CENTRAL thread of the Kennedy assassination is NOT about the Anti-Castro Cubans OR the "alleged" MAFIA 'connexion' The NEXUS of this whole issue boils down to WHO knew WHAT and WHO DID what and WHEN, and HOW...I've added my WHY?? It is intertwined with my whole mind-set and particular way of "looking at and perceiving things" - may I? ...Perhaps my little rant (below / which follows:) will at least encourage people to investigate further, and GET THE answers to the following questions for themselves.... 1. WHO STOOD TO GAIN THE MOST? --> JOHNSON 2. WHERE did the assassination HAPPEN? -->Dallas, TEXAS - Johnson's home state... 3. WHEN did it Happen? --> ONLY 2 months AFTER JFK had signed an Executive Order (as THE COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF of the military, and as ONE WHO ACTUALLY SERVED a FULL tour of duty on ACTIVE STATUS!): ORDERING the withdrawal of U.S. Military personnel from Viet Nam and South East Asia, altogether....at that time, the U.S. had approximately 125,000 military personnel stationed in SE Asia/VN - JFK had ORDERED the troops home; --> OMG!!! The Military-Industrial Complex "...HAD to DO something" about this 'young, charismatic, idealistic, possibly naive, UPSTART'..." who actually PROMOTED A PEACEFUL resolution to problems (I BELIEVE that he HAD LEARNED a HUGE lesson with the 'Bay of Pigs' disaster-piece, and HE DID SOMETHING ABOUT IT: he set about rectifying the situation in Viet Nam...) Because Viet Nam was a battle that had raged in and around the MEKONG DELTA for over 3,000 years - "whoever CONTROLS the waterways, controls the COMMERCE, controls the DELTA!"... and...JFK's thoughts: "...since WE COULDN'T WIN IT, let's not stay in it...this crap has been going on 'over there' for 3,000 years, it's an internal domestic problem - let THEM duke it out!" THAT is what I feel was JFK's reasoning behind his decision and the resultant Executive Order...which BTW, was ESSENTIALLY the FIRST thing Johnson did as President: he rescinded JFK's Exec Order, and then issued HIS OWN exec Order....see below.... 4. Oswald WAS a "patsy" - The CIA set up EVERYTHING that Oswald "supposedly" touched, said, or DID...and OSWALD KNEW IT! He was set-up to "take the fall"; Garrison's research in New Orleans was CORRECT, and his assumptions based upon the evidence and FACTS are THERE! **** "abrase los ojos...OPEN YOUR EYES..." -"WAKE UP, Donnie"... **** 5. The Ivy League schools (Harvard, Yale and M.I.T., to name JUST a FEW) have always been CIA & FBI "recruiting grounds" - READ the book: "The CIA and Mind Control - The Search for the Manchurian Candidate" by JOHN MARKS - Mr. Marks culled through 16,000 pages of CIA internal documents, which he obtained (and so can YOU!) through the "Freedom Of [dis-] Information Act " (FoIA). According to the back of the book "blurb", Mr. Marks had then (published in 1980) '"...most recently taught a course on the secret history of the behavioral sciences at HARVARD's Institute of Politics." If anyone SHOULD know what went on in the CIA under the "directorship" of Allan Dulles all the way through George BUSH Sr. - it would be Mr. Marks...I should think he would be a pretty reliable authority on the subject matter, hence my reliance upon his "pre-sifted" data.... 6. My name is Lily, and I have recently watched Oliver Stone's production of "JFK" - This is a fantastic movie about the assassination of President Kennedy. Mr. Stone's FILM was based upon a couple of books, which I have NOT YET read (but am planning on doing so - ASAP). I have however read the book: "High Treason" by Livingstone and Groden. I feel that Oliver Stone's movie utilized the BEST of the ALL of the available materials about the Kennedy assassination, even though THIS particular book ("High Treason") was not listed by name in the credits of the movie (…not that I saw, anyway…); a lot of the "theories" are the same, if NOT SIMILAR in nature... highly recommended reading - and I understand that Oliver Stone possibly couldn't POINT a FINGER the the direction in which we'll be heading today - get out the "compasses", folks, we're going "orienteering"! I DO believe that it was the Military-Industrial complex, since it is a known FACT that President John F. Kennedy had signed his Executive Order in SEPTEMBER 1963, ordering the withdrawal of the U.S. military presence in Viet Nam, gradually over a two year time-period. (( “....WE can’t be having a ‘peaceful solution’ to a BIG problem now CAN WE...?” asked the M-I.C. “Bosses” among themselves…)) I also believe, and am still seeking confirmation of those FACTS which are available, that Lyndon Johnson was behind the WHOLE THING, just as was the "man behind the curtain" in the "Wizard of Oz," pretending to BE “OZ…the great and powerful!” ----> CUE SONG MY GENERATION'S “OZ” (Ozzy Osborn), called it as HE saw it: (MUSIC: break 1) (PLAY: Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs” ) “Generals gathered in their masses... (I watch A LOT of movies, but I also read at a speed of 510 w.p.m. with 98% retention ability)... I happen to be ALSO an AVID reader, with broad and eclectic interests. May I share with you the three reasons why I believe LBJ was behind the assassination, IN COOPERATION WITH the "M-I.C."? (M-I.C.= Military-Industrial Complex, for our purposes today…!? 1. LBJ was from Texas, and was the incumbent "Vice President of the U.S.A.” (This answers the question: WHO STANDS TO GAIN THE MOST?) He gained control of this country’s political processes at approximately 1:00 pm on November 22, 1963, when it was announced that President Kennedy had died from his “injuries,” and Johnson KNEW that he had just become “the President…” even before he was SWORN IN, or the INK dry on JFK's "Death Certificate; he almost IMMEDIATELY rescinded JFK's Exec Order and ISSUED his own, which ESCALATED and accelerated the war in Viet Nam - JUST ask Peter Jenning's - he was a "cub reporter" in his helmet and flak-jacket..."reporting from the de-militarized zone..." - A FIXTURE on the nightly news when I was growing up! ....a. The assassination has been proven "beyond a shadow of a doubt" to have been achieved by the cooperation of the CIA's & the FBI's "rogue agents". (This answers the questions: WHO could "pull it off?" and "HOW did they do it?”) CROSSFIRE- it is the ONLY LOGICAL explanation and, since it is the MOST basic of ground warfare tactics and strategies, it would account for the ACTIONS of the supposedly "Magic Bullet," (For now, let us set aside completely the FACT that the Magic Bullet wasn't EVER even fired from a gun!) Aside from being found in "pristine" condition, this "Magic Bullet” had DEFIED all known "Laws of Physics”- those “laws” pertaining to vectors, angles, trajectories, and ballistics! It has since been proven, with OTHER bullets, that it simply COULD NOT have happened the way in which it was described to the American People, NOR even in the way that the Warren Commission investigators were TOLD that it happened! 2. The charges against Lee Harvey Oswald (with the media's "focus" being deliberately "mis-directed" toward the "Lone Gunman" Theory), were NEVER filed - he was detained by the DALLAS police, IN violation of ALL criminal procedures known and IN EFFECT AT THE TIME, then HE, too, was "assassinated" (sacrificed?) by a lone (?) gunman, in the garage of the DALLAS Police Station...(?) Are we detecting ANY PATTERN here? Thus was Oswald disposed of "neatly" and "completely", yet not so "very sweetly" - pure and SIMPLE - HE KNEW TOO MUCH! ....a. HE COULD NOT HAVE SHOT KENNEDY! Oswald was merely an "average shot" at his BEST, in the military, where he was ranked, by his OWN superior officers, as an "average" marksman. He was certainly NEVER ranked ”of sniper quality" with firearms while in the military....it's ridiculous to EVEN consider the notion that HE fired FROM THAT DISTANCE, using the bolt / lever action rifle that "they found” (translate: “planted”) in the Texas School Book Depository, MUCH LESS could OSWALD have HIT President Kennedy, 1.in the FRONT OF THE THROAT, 2. in the UPPER BACK, and then 3. to BLOW the BACK of the President’s head off, then for this SAME “pristine and magical bullet” to HIT the then-Governor of TEXAS, John Connolly, in the right wrist and then AGAIN in his LEFT THIGH! TWO MOVING Targets…and AT the very minimum: BLOWING FIVE holes in TWO bodies with ONE BULLET THAT WAS NEVER FIRED FROM A GUN!!! …………………………………… Think about it…...........it's "Something Different"...yet relative... b. The "not-so" Secret Service had OTHER aspects of the MOTORCADE covered, too; when the driver of the limousine SLOWED to 10 miles per hour...in COMPLETE DEFIANCE of all known Secret Service "Presidential Protection Squad" rules, which back then and on up to this day REQUIRE the speed of the Presidential Limo to be AT LEAST 25 miles per hour…! It's completely ludicrous!! ....It is "Something Different"...yet relative..... c. I believe that the majority of the local Secret Service branch agency WERE, INDEED, SPECIFICALLY pulled OUT of service on THAT day, (by LBJ, ... through those who “owed him favors” in DALLAS and I might add, LBJ used his contacts via the "good ol' boy network" of the Ivy League "Skull & Bones Society" -a WELL-KNOWN 'secret society' of the RICH, powerful and privileged SONS OF THE OLIGARCHY), ESPECIALLY back in the 1960's, when the IVY LEAGUE schools were the PROMINENT & PREDOMINANT recruiting ground for the CIA AND the FBI: whenever they sought NEW "agents," HARVARD, YALE and M.I.T. were some of the Ivy League schools at which they recruited). With their "underground network of communications" - they had PLANNED JFK's assassination, and that HE (LBJ) had given...."direct orders from the White House"....for ALL phases of the "set-up," GUIDING IT ALL - straight to, and through ALL of the events in Dallas,TEXAS, on November 22nd, 1963. It's "Something Different'...yet relative.... MUSIC BREAK: Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the Moon" - SONG: "Eclipse" ----> CUE: And we are back with “Something Different”, yet related..... 3. The FACTS show that, when Johnson had BARELY been sworn in as President, he NOT ONLY rescinded President Kennedy's Executive Order #______ to withdraw OUR military personnel from Viet Nam & South East Asia; JOHNSON ALSO then ISSUED an Executive Order of HIS OWN #________ , which then accelerated and ESCALATED the war in Viet Nam. (This answers the question: TO WHAT PURPOSE, and by what MEANS are the “ends” achieved?) WAR is NOT peace - Slavery is NOT freedom! 2+2 STILL DO NOT MAKE 5! I have read George Orwell’s “1984”; Aldous Huxley’s “Brave New World”; Livingstone & Groden’s monumental undertaking “High Treason”, Neil Sheehan’s “A Bright and Shining Lie” – about the war in Viet Nam; John Marks' "The CIA and Mind Control - The Search for the 'Manchurian Candidate' " - my own copy published in 1980, so WHO KNOWS how much has been "edited out" since then - it was HIGHLY controversial in its day; his book prior to THIS one was CENSORED by the U.S. Government, yet somehow STILL became a bestseller - Its title: "The CIA and the Cult of Intelligence." I have, as well, undertaken a study of World History AND – separately – Comparative World Religions - The writers which I have previously named, are writers who have proven to ME, this one bare-bones FACT: That it does NOT MATTER, WHATSOEVER one's religion, race, color, creed, or location on the globe that is OUR MUTUAL home, whomever and wherever you may happen to be.... In the “NAME of PEACE”... Blood has always been shed! WAR IS BIG BUSINESS - "Got an economic depression? Throw a 'war'," - thus it is that the Military-Industrial Complex "insiders" co-opt "privileged" information, then they invest (...taking this CONFIDENTIAL 'advance notice' into consideration, of course...!) and grow rich. Thus it is, while our nations' (PLURAL, not "possessive") young men and women in EVERY military system IN THE WORLD "serve" an IDEAL which DOES NOT exist! Then they die in a WAR, whether it be a worldly war (one for gaining possession of a resource or of a parcel of land) or a "jihad" (a HOLY WAR), and are considered "patriotic" and/or "faithful" for doing so...it is NEITHER patriotic NOR "faith-FULL" to KILL in the name of one's Country OR of one's GOD! IT IS NOT "patriotism," at all – that definition of PATRIOTISM suggests, fosters and PROMOTES the continued existence of the: "lines on the maps, moving from side to side" thus, ”patriotism” = "partisanism," “nationalism,” "separatism," and continues IT’S GIGANTIC STRIDES, trampling over the “little guy,” merely to serve the “Privileged Few” in their "political endgames" ...when the TRUTH – as I SEE IT - IS: the only "ENDGAME" is ONE of GLOBAL PROPORTIONS: 1. Cooperation between ALL nations toward the MUTUAL SHARING & REDISTRIBUTION of the vast resources found in VARIOUS areas of the world between ALL areas of the world, and, (but you'd have to END GREED!) 2. Economic Equality, based upon INDIVIDUAL EFFORT, NOT "PARTISAN PRIVILEGE." (but you'd have to EDUCATE the populace, ONLY THEN will emerge the "VOX POPULI!") The “everyday person,” working toward these TWO goals, will soon enough SHOW the "WAR-mongrels" of the Military-Industrial COMPLEX, and their "power-BROKERS," that WE, THE PEOPLE, ARE TAKING IT INTO OUR OWN hands to WORK TOWARD these goals OURSELVES - cutting THEM and THEIR illusory "witchdoctor cures" of "WAR" and "politics" (ie: THEY GET "RICH" while the rest of the world goes to bed HUNGRY, every night, and lives a shoeless, homeless, foodless, nomadic and/or rootless existence, EVERYDAY because of those "WAR PIGS"! STOP “FEEDING” THEM – ALTOGETHER! ALL TOGETHER, WE, YOU and ME will starve THEM to death! ELIMINATE GREED! ELIMINATE INEQUITY! STOP the madness, people – PLEASE! STOP being "xenophobes" (defined as: an irrational fear of foreigners), and learn about OTHER countries, other CULTURES, other planetary resources.... WE CAN ALL SHARE THIS PLANET! STOP the MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX via “ousting’” it’s PRO-ponents! If you are NOT a registered VOTER, please GET REGISTERED and VOTE in this NEXT election; IF YOU’RE not sure how to go about it, PLEASE CALL YOUR LOCAL ELECTION BOARD – OR ASK A FRIEND – OR CALL THE American Legion Post OR VFW #_______ in your area, they can all help point you in the right direction! LET the world's different SOCIETIES "catch up" to one another… WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY... NOW IS THE TIME, NOW is when it is MOST NEEDED: THE proper HEART-Set and MIND-Set to USE the technology wisely, effectively and with the spirit of cooperation, creating "win-win" situations for everyone, globally! It said that long posts don't get much attention. And by that I meant that people don't respond much to long postings. But maybe you were just trying to be contentious with me, Jack. That is only a problem for our younger readers brought up on sound bite information. Most of us here still read books and can cope with a page of text. I agree that LBJ had the most to gain from the assassination of JFK. However, it does not follow he was responsible for this crime. Although there is evidence available that provides the names of the organizer and the members of the team who carried it out, the man who ordered the assassination will never be identified by the evidence available (what existed at the time has long gone). What we can do is identify who covered the assassination up: Lyndon Johnson, J. Edgar Hoover, CIA, FBI and the Secret Service. This does not mean these people or organizations were involved in the assassination itself. Nor did they work together in this. I suspect the reason why this happened was that the real assassins planted evidence implicating LBJ, etc. Once this had been done, they had no alternative but to try and hide this information. The Communists imagined the world would be perfect and peaceful once it was all Communist, and the Soviets were conditioned to believe that a "new Communist man" would emerge when the whole world was conquered, and, as the song says, the world would live as one.
