But isn't it odd that all such ID photos of persons CONNECTED TO INTELLIGENCE have this same peculiarity...and that John Armstrong found the ONLY GOOD COPY of the Oswald photo IN THE FILES OF ONI. Marine recruits seemed fertile territory for Intel-recruiters. I have collected a number of such photos of people against "inch" charts, and the only ones with big heads seem to be intelligence guys. I will see if I can find some comparisons where the subjects have heads of ordinary size. Local police mug shots frequently appear in the local newspaper, and they don't have big heads. The possibility that Danny boy may have covert connections becomes most interesting in retrospect, given his connections to JFK and his meteoric rise to prominence...plus interesting "assignments" like Afghanistan and the Kerry campaign fiasco. Nice intelligence asset to be the voice of CBS for years...you know, the Coverup Broadcasting System. Think about it! I must reread the Monte Evans monograph THE RATHER NARRATIVE with ONI in mind. And Penn Jones, A RETIRED GENERAL, used to tell me that Dan Rather was one of the most important people in Dallas on 11-22. Did Penn have an inside source on Dan? Do you think he was on the right track, or did he spend a lot of time chasing false leads? I always felt Penn had some "inside" sources. Plus, he was a very high profile researcher in the 60s-70s and got lots of TIPS...for instance the DEAR MR. HUNT LETTER from someone in Mexico. One problem is that Penn was not meticulous about double-checking sources, so some things he wrote were unverified or unverifiable. But he was usually correct, I think. He did us a great service. Jack White Posted July 22, 2007 Author Share Posted July 22, 2007 On the DellaRosa forum, Rich searched the internet and found mug shots of famous criminals standing in front of inch charts, showing that such photos may be meaningless for measurements. He posted a half dozen images with head sizes all the way from normal (around ten inches) to more than 15 inches! I cannot understand the reason for taking such photos if they are not to show measurments! Either very sloppy photo work, or deliberate mistakes? This does not negate my studies of military/intelligence ID photos, but it does complicate it very much. We need to find WHY photos of LHO, Rather, and others have such oversized heads, all UNIFORMLY LARGE. I'd think that the govt has very precise standards for such photos.
