Guest Raynah Thomas
We're being inspected next week; 3rd time this year because we failed Ofsted in October, appealed and won the appeal. Now HMI are coming in to see what progress we have made on the 'serious weaknesses' Anyway, I have a very able year 9 group who have been looking at the way families and society are presented in The Simpsons. Our discussion has led several times to satire. I'd like to pick up on this next week and do something with them , but don't want to use 'A Modest Proposal' which is the text I'd usually offer. Any bright ideas? I need two one hour lessons. Cheers.
