I am, as is my wife of 27 years, a home educator, teaching seven children, one of whom is an aspiring novelist and another who is enrolled at Indiana University, Bloomington. I have a B.S. in Mathematics from the United States Naval Academy, was selected by Admiral Rickover for service in nuclear powered submarines, and was awarded a Juris Doctor degree from Regent University. I am a practicing attorney and member of the Virginia and Indiana State Bar Associations. I have one published legal article, "The Individual Right to Keep and Bear Arms as a Federally Protected Right."
