Bill and Gayle Newman were standing at the curb on the north side of Elm St and were almost alongside the limo when the head shots rang out. They describe what they saw and heard. Because Mr. Newman told the FBI that he believed that the last shot came from the knoll, he was never called to testify before the Warren Commission.
