As stated on another posting, one never knows exactly when such knowledge as "crack control joints" as well as "expansion joints" in concrete curb and gutter as well as concrete sidewalks, may be of some use.

I would also state that the individual standing over the crack control joint can be easily seen in one of the films taken by someone in the motorcade, to include the "crack control joint" between his feet/legs.

Having not been to Dealy Plaza in many years, it is unknown as to whether or not the sidewalk has also been now replaced as well.

The sidewalks have NOT been replaced, as far as I know.

The man standing on the crack is Altgens, I believe.

Having NOT been back there in many years, I have no basis upon which to determine this.

However, if factual, then there is little excuse (including not having the survey notes in my possession), for claiming to not be able to accurately locate the position of such things as Lamp Posts, etc; through much of what was the "Kill Zone".

Of course, there are always better photo's with which to evaluate such items.

P.S. This was not taught during the course in "Aerial Imagry Interpretation".

It is learned as a result of having worked for firms such as the Benham Group A/E firm.
