Bill, just so you know: I agree there was a CIA raid against Cuba on Halloween of 1963.

And just a few days later RFK sat in a meeting with top CIA officers in which agreement was reached to continue sabotage operations against Cuba, including sabotage efforts in the week immediately before JFK's trip to Dallas. There is some indication JFK himself may have attended this meeting.

There is no way anyone can contend that RFK was unaware of CIA sabotage efforts against Cuba.

Of couse such sabotage operations were acts of war.

Less than a month after the U.S.' October 31 attack on Cuba, the President of the United States was slain in the streets of Dallas.

As Ayers himself writes, after the assassination of JFK, the U.S.' war against Cuba grinded albeit slowly to a halt.

TIM, ALL OF THE ABOVE IS TRUE.

But to draw a connection between the October 31 U.S. raid against Cuba, RFK's approval of stepped-up sabotage against Cuba in the week immediately preceding the assassination, and the assassination itself, now that would truly be absurd.

HOW IS THAT ABSURD? I DON'T DRAW THE CONNECTION, THE CONNECTIONS ARE DRAWN OUT IN THE FRONT PAGE OF THE NEW YORK TIMES AND THE EVIDENCE LEFT IN THE DEBRE OF THE ASSASSINATION IN THE STREETS OF DALLAS - DID I SPELL DEBRE RIGHT?

No nexus there; the confluence of these events is just--it's just--well, it's just a coincidence!

So you accept my point, Bill, that Cuba had JFK killed precisely to stop all of our acts of war against Cuba up to and including our attempts to muder the Glorious Leader of the Revolution? That is why I said, with tongue planted firmly in my check, that it was "absurd" to conclude a connection between our sabotage against Cuba and our plots against Castro's life and the death of our president whose brother (at least-there is indication JFK was also in the room) approved additional sabotage efforts against Cuba for the week ending November 15th! JFK was killed within days after those new US acts of sabotage and terrorism.

And you are pulling my leg--you know how to spell "debris". I am sure.

Interesting to note that your discovery of the fact that Collins Radio became part of Rockwell

International meshes nicely with my theory that the Rockwell takeover of Draper Corp. in

1967 was for all intents and purposes the payback to Wickliffe Draper for removing JFK as

an obstacle to expanding the Viet Nam war effort. I remember when we shared the same

conference room in Washington, DC at the COPA conference and presented back to back

stories about Rockwell's role in the JFK conundrum.

Can you remind me again about that secretive NSA building you discovered with a Rockwell

logo on the outside? This project was essentially hidden from Congress, right?

Hi John, sorry I missed this earlier, but indeed, we did give back to back talks at COPA that ended up at Rockwell International.

Whatever year that COPA conference in DC was, that was the year that the Washington Post, in a front page story, revealed that the previously reported new world headquarters for Collins Radio being built in Virginia, was actually the new home of the NRO - spys in the skies guys. So Collins was still being used as a bad/soft cover three decades after the Rex made the cover of the NYTs.

George Magazine also published an article by David Wise on the NRO and how they lost a few billion dollars with no accounting for it.

As for Rockwell International - there's a lot on the internet about the Rocky Mountain Flats nuke junkyard - where a local grand jury voted to indict some Rockwell managers for chemical pollution but the DA declined, a great case of a real runaway grand jury.

As for Congress, they always find out about things they financed by reading the WP and NYTs. Think about what they'd learn if they came to a COPA conference?

....3. I also briefly reviewed Oswald's Office of Security file on November 14, 1963. Although I am not certain, I believe the impetus for this review was either my receipt of a Federal Bureau of Investigation report dated October 31, 1963 on Lee Harvey Oswald or my receipt of a Federal Bureau of Investigation report dated October 25, 1963 on the Fair Play for Cuba Committee New Orleans.....

DOES ANYONE HAVE OR KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS OCTOBER 31, 1963 FBI REPORT ON LEE HARVEY OSWALD?

Okay, I got a handle on this one. According to a HSCA report on the response of intelligence agencies to Oswald's activities in the lead up to the assassination, there's mention of "the Kaack Report."

On October 31, 1963 Special Agent of the FBI Milton Kaack issued a report on Oswald's known activities up to Sept. 24, 1963 when he left New Orleans. It includes information on LHO's FPCC activities, including his arrest, etc.

What's Spooky is that as far as the FBI are concerned, Oswald is missing, they don't know where he is, and "leads to locate Lee Harvey Oswald were sent to Dallas, Fort Worth, and Malvern, Arkansas..."

What would make the FBI think, on October 31, 1963, that Lee Harvey Oswald had anything at all to do with Malvern, Arkansas?

Does anyone have a clue?

Okay, so Robert Oswald was transferred by the Acme Brick Company from Texas to Arkansas in early 1963 - and received a letter from his kid brother Lee while there, then left in September, 1963, returning to Texas.

So why would the FBI think LHO might be in Malvern, Arkansas on October 31, 1963?
