Peter Jones (2)
Hello and happy new year! I have posted about this resource before, but in the past two years a blog has been established. http://hodges-model.blogspot.com/ In need of assistance (a banner for the blog) I have some arts and design projects I can put student's way...? Also I would delighted to hear from anyone using the model. Originally created in the UK by Brian E Hodges (Ret.) at Manchester Metropolitan University - Hodges' Health Career - Care Domains - Model [h2cm] http://www.p-jones.demon.co.uk/ - can help map health, social care and OTHER issues, problems and solutions. The model takes a situated and multi-contextual view across four knowledge domains: * Interpersonal; * Sociological; * Empirical; * Political. Our links pages cover each care (knowledge) domain e.g. INTERPERSONAL: http://www.p-jones.demon.co.uk/links.htm SOCIOLOGY: http://www.p-jones.demon.co.uk/links3.htm The blog includes a link to a 30 minute audio podcast. A paper is due to be published this year in a book on 'Social Information Technology...' discussing selected ideas of the French philosopher Michel Serres, Hodges model and social informatics. I am now working on a book chapter on socio-technical structures and Hodges model. Thank you for your time and best wishes with your plans.
