Interesting photo oddity

The Limo moved and parallax caused Kellerman to move behind Nellie.

Craig

Craig.....Did you mean to say Kellerman moved in front of Jackie, or do you think I have got it wrong?

Duncan

Thank you Duncan, your are correct, I should have typed Jackie instead of Nellie

That is CONNALLY behind Jackie. What is seen is his hand. NOTE THE WHITE CUFF.

Jack

In the frames in your study Connally was always behind Jackie, except for his hand on the right side of Jackie. His body was hidden. As your sequence progresses Connally starts to appear on the right side of Jackie, as parallex tells us he must. And Kellerman moves to the right and is hidden by Jackie, as parallex tells us he must.

Duncan has correctly identified the ear of Kellerman as it peeks out from behind the left side of Jackies head.

No mystery, just poor image analysis on your part.

My arrow is pointing precisely at Kellerman's head, even more precisely, his left ear. The white cuff is just about to vanish in front of Jackie ( as we view the frame ) in the next couple of frames.

Duncan

If that is Kellerman THEN HE IS KISSING CONNALLY ON THE LIPS, as Connally's head

can be seen on the other side of Jackie's pink hat.

Jack

Yes Jack, but you must admit, Connally was quite an attractive man for his age. LOL

There are lots of oddities in Nix. Like this.

In just a few frames, what appears to be Jackie's white-gloved hand

changes into Connally's waving hand.

Jack

Jack ... you are looking at Connally's hand on a poor print image in both instances ... I would say more, but Kathy's request prevents me from doing so - you should thank her!!!

Are you ready for this? What was a wedding party doing watching

the parade?

Were you aware of the "WEDDING PARTY" filmed by Nix?

Nix shows a very incongruous group in the Houston crowd. The limo

passes two women in ankle length white dresses. With them is a man

dressed in what could be a black tuxedo. Is somebody pulling our leg?

Jack

Perhaps my remark sounds condescending, but it was more for you not to be attacked for posting the wedding party photo.

I think you know that there isn't a wedding party.

You have alot of followers in the alteration theory who depend on you to carry the torch. I would take that very seriously, if I were you. You should consider what you present, before you present it. The topic of alteration incites alot of folks. That's what the "circumstances" were.

I won't mind if my comment is edited--I just hope that if anyone responds to your questions on this photo, that they remain polite.

Why else are two ladies wearing all-white ankle length dresses at noon on a Friday? Do you

deny that Nix shows this? Please supply a more acceptable explanation.

Someone (Frank or Chris?) posted an excellent scan of what had looked to me

to be women in long white dresses. It shows the women appear to be two

men in WHITE UNIFORMS with white shirts and white pants...certainly odd

for a cool November day. I searched for an hour and could find this odd

group nowhere else except Hughes. I guess the wedding is off.

I am familiar with virtually every known photo of Dealey Plaza and never

in ANY PHOTO have I seen two men in white uniforms. Have you?

Well Jack ... let this be a lesson to you. Poor images make for poor interpretations.

As far as it being odd that the men were in white uniforms ... I lost track of how many people I saw in custodian type uniforms, not to mention how many women dressed like Sitzman who were out in the midday sun. After all, was it not Jackie who said that she was looking forward to reaching the cool shade of the underpass.

Listen you big XXXXXXXXXXXXX! I need no lectures from you. I used the best

images available to me. Apparently Chris and Frank have access to better copies

of the Nix film than available on the Groden DVD. So quit your preaching, you

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX!

Go away. Have a nice day. Somewhere else.

Take your pick!!!

Either a group of Giants or a bunch of Midgets.

Simple explanation would do.

chris

Excellent, Chris. But that is not Nix, is it? Is it Muchmore?

I have been looking at Nix for two days and did not see that frame!

Why are your images so excellent, and mine from the Groden DVD

so poor?

After more viewing of the movements of the hand, I have changed my

opinion on this one. The hand seems to belong to Connally in both

frames. In the first one he is GRIPPING THE CHROME HANDHOLD ON

THE SEATBACK with fingers closed. He then lets go and raises the

hand to wave. I have no idea why his hand appears white and his

cuff pink, which is what made me think it belonged to Jackie. I was

wrong on this one apparently.

The difference in height might be the result of some people standing on the curb and others standing on the street in front of the garage entrance...

Also -- using an interlaced frame for comparisons is futile. Chris -- you need to make sure you've got progressive frames. The interlacing throws off what you are doing.

Honestly, to my eyes (which aren't always good, so take it for what it is worth), the wedding party seems to be a case of false attachment, but I'll look at it more and post when I get done with work (I don't have access to my files right now).
