Wim Dankbaar
Has anyone ever heard of this story that ran all over the newswires on November 22, 1963? http://jfkmurdersolved.com/pdf/deadsecretserviceagent.pdf http://jfkmurdersolved.com/pdf/deadsecretserviceagent1.pdf http://jfkmurdersolved.com/pdf/deadsecretserviceagent2.pdf http://jfkmurdersolved.com/pdf/deadsecretserviceagent3.pdf
Wim Dankbaar
You know, if this was a crank story, why was it never followed up? If only to deny it? Why don't we know about it? White man, Midtwenties and black curly hair, a match for the friend of James Files. (Files say he was called "the Raven" because of his hair). How did the Ft Worth Police know to arrest this guy in connection to the Tippit killing? 30 miles away from the place where it happened! What happened to that guy? Was he questioned? Was he released? http://jfkmurdersolved.com/tippit.htm David Phillips was from Fort Worth.
James Richards
Wim, Could the Fort Worth arrest mentioned be Donald Wayne House? Also, in one of those stories, it was interesting that the murder weapon which killed the President was described as a 25 caliber Japanese Army rifle. Bizarre. Duke Lane
This is ancient news, resolved 15+ years ago. The man (or men) referred to is/are named Donald Wayne House and/or Kenneth Glenn Wilson, cousins by marriage, neither of whom were any relation to or had any connections with David Atlee Phillips or any governmental agency other than the highway department in west Texas. See Yours Truly, "The Cowtown Connection," The Third Decade, Volume 9, Issue 5 (July 1993), page 36 to back cover. There's no "Raven" in this story (sorry, Jimmy!), I've met all of the principals. Or even that this shooting (no indication here if the officer died or survied) was even on the same day. Only that the guy from Fort Worth was arrested on the same day. ................................................................................ ........................... Soon after President Kennedy was assassinated today in Dallas, a white man in his mid 20s was arrested in the Riverside section of Fort Worth in the shooting of a Dallas policeman. The man, wno has black curly hair and who wore a red shirt, denied that he was connected with the assassination of the President. His hands were handcuffed and he was taken to the Fort Worth City jail.
Wim Dankbaar
Duke, I knew the story of Donald Wayne House: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8-z68VgE0s Only problem is that he did not have "curly black hair". Neither does the other man of your article (with the pencil behind his ear) have such hair. And he has'nt a red shirt either. Wim

There may be all kinds of misquotes in play here, but the article clearly states (as your transcription shows) the arrest was in connection to the shooting of a Dallas policeman. There was only one Dallas policeman shot that day, and that was J. D. Tippit. Wim
