Jerome Andrew Blackmon

[William Kelly]

Jerome Andrew Blackmon, ex-Marine, arrested with David Ferrie on morals charges, participated in the Houma AFB bunker raid (Aug. '61), and described as "5'11-6' tall, dark black, wavy hair, and "obsessed with firing a rifle that he had in his possession the whole time at Ferrie's house and he was constantly pulling the bolt on this weapon, he was dressed in a Marine fatiques uniform, and gave the impression he was just released from the service."

There's also a Mrs. Blackmon, a friend of Ruby who nobody bothered to look into.

What became of him?

Jerome Andrew Blackmon aka Andrew Jerome Blackmon. Also with him and Ferrie when Ferrie was busted on morals charges were Layton Martens and Melvin Seeling.

Melvin Seeling, at some stage, worked as a Control Tower Operator in Corpus Christi. For what it's worth, this was the same occupation as Heming and Roy Hargreaves were listed as having at various times.

Seeling (FNU) is in the HSCA mug shots. Seeling (FNU) was identified by James Richards as being in one of the Quebec to Gitmo peace walk pics, though James qualified at the time, he thought the marcher's first name was Tom.

Can't find any pics of Blackmon. There are several people with that surname in the records.
