In 2006, journalist and author Ron Kessler was hired as reporter and washington bureau chied of Newsmax.

Newsmax was founded by Chirstopher Ruddy:

....Farah co-founded the Western Journalism Center with James H. Smith, former publisher of the Sacramento Union (and former CEO and publisher of the revived Sacramento Union operation). The center provided Christopher Ruddy with "additional expense money, funding for Freedom of Information Act requests, legal support and publicity" during his investigation of the death of Vince Foster while working as a reporter for the New York Post and the Scaife-owned Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. This included buying full-page ads in major newspapers reproducing Ruddy's work and co-producing a video about the Foster investigation with Ruddy. The center accepted $330,000 in donations from Scaife-connected foundations in 1994-95. The center has been involved in an ongoing lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service over a tax audit it alleges was politically motivated. Farah is, like Bozell, also a member of the secretive Council for National Policy.

Mr. Bozell is Brett Bozell III, nephew of the late William Buckley.

Newsmax "reporter", Ron Kessler, is on a media tour, promoting his new book about the Secret Service, claiming, among other things, that due to funding cuts, the Secret Service protection of Obama has suffered in the adequacy of weapons and other resources, and:

Secret Service Secrets: Obama Threats Up 400 Percent

Monday, August 3, 2009 7:23 PM...

"In the President's Secret Service: Behind the Scenes With Agents in the Line of Fire and the Presidents They Protect," released Tuesday, discloses that threats against the president have increased dramatically — by a staggering 400 percent since Obama entered the White House.

Kessler is the first journalist to penetrate the wall of secrecy that surrounds the U.S. Secret Service, and his book is based on interviews with more than 100 current and former agents. ....

Why would the SS provide access and inside information to an extreme right wing organization like Newsmax and it's propagandist, Ron Kessler?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newsmax_Media

Christopher W. Ruddy started Newsmax.com on September 16, 1998, supported by a group of conservative investors, including the family of the late Central Intelligence Agency Director William J. Casey. Later Richard Mellon Scaife, his former employer at the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and a supporter of conservative causes, invested in the fledging company.[2] One of the initial board members was author James Dale Davidson who edited a financial newsletter that had shared Ruddy's interest in the Vincent Foster case. Davidson's co-editor, Lord Rees-Mogg, former editor of the The Times and Vice Chair of the BBC, later became chairman of Newsmax Media.[3]......

....and here is news about the son of CNP's founding family (Prince and Devos), and continuing major funding source:

http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/200...enya/index.html

....Blackwater expert Jeremy Scahill reports in The Nation that "a former Blackwater employee and an ex-US Marine who has worked as a security operative for the company" alleged in a sworn statement:

that the company's owner, Erik Prince, may have murdered or facilitated the murder of individuals who were cooperating with federal authorities investigating the company. The former employee also alleges that Prince "views himself as a Christian crusader tasked with eliminating Muslims and the Islamic faith from the globe," and that Prince's companies "encouraged and rewarded the destruction of Iraqi life."

Though these are allegations at this point, the various abuses and crimes of Blackwater are well-documented, and nobody has done a better job of doing that than Scahill. Prince, a supporter of the most extremist right-wing Christian groups including Focus on the Family, built what can only be described as a large private army that the U.S. Government uses, one that -- as Scahill put it -- "has operatives deployed in nine other countries around the world, can boast of a force of 20,000 men to call on at a moment’s notice, has a fleet of aircrafts." ....

Given the world's current state, Obama is proving day after day to be the best possible insurance policy for the status quo.

Should his act begin to wear thin, we would do well to remember some of Machiavellis ideas on the uses of PERCEIVED assassination ATTEMPTS. Remember the context in which Clinton Inc, the most rightward dems since??? uttered their vastrightwing conspiracy phrase. This stuff is shere psyop. What makes us think that assassination rumors would not have any similar function of invisible futures markets? The key point here is there is nothing to lose anymore with these games, there is

no checks and balances anywhere.

That said there is always the possibility of a lunatic or the sudden and unexpected need to put metal into a hollow threat. How would we ever know at this point? Jane Harmon?

Just take a look at both the leadership and the membership list of CNP and you will see the personification of selfishness and deviousness incarnate. Do any of these names ring a bell

with the REAL JFK Assn Community? Nelson Bunker Hunt, Alton Ochsner, Jr., Tim LaHaye, Edwin Meese III, Thomas Ellis, Oliver North, Jerry Falwell, Jack Abramoff, etc. were all leaders

with the CNP. Get to know them. They have dozens of little snitches like Sarah McClendon and Gordon Hall going around and joining COPA and sabotaging all your efforts.

Tom, get a copy of "The Coors Connection" by Russ Bellant which is really the story of The Council for National Policy by the same author who wrote Old Nazis, The New Right and

the Republican Party. Also read "Inside the League" by Jon and Scott Anderson about WACL and get the John Roy Carlson books Undercover (like Sarah McClendon) and The Plotters.

The read "The Yahoos" (author name slips my memory) anything by Bill Turner.

The real power structure in America is the CNP which took over from The John Birch Society. They are the clear winners after the death of JFK and they plan to run the country for decades.

How much further to the right in our one right wing party US political system, would Obama have to position himself to influence the right wing extremists in America to tone it down? Isn't it reasonable to observe that the political landscape has shifted even more towards the extreme right today, than on November 22, 1963?

Is a coherent dialogue, possible any longer, between the majority comprised of those positioned with Obama politically, and to the right of him, and the comparatively fewer positioned to the left of Obama? Can we continue much longer, to even live side by side, in the same country?

Bill Moyers on the health care debate, Democrats, and Afghanistan

Bill Moyers was on Bill Maher's show last night and spoke about the core failures of Democratic Party in the context of both the health care debate and the ongoing escalation in Afghanistan. The whole discussion is really worth watching (at least until HBO intervenes, the entire 30-minute interview can be seen in 3 parts: here, here and here;

On what's really happening in the health care fight:

MOYERS: I don’t think the problem is the Republicans . . . .The problem is the Democratic Party. This is a party that has told its progressives -- who are the most outspoken champions of health care reform -- to sit down and shut up. That’s what Rahm Emanuel, the Chief of Staff at the White House, in effect told progressives who stood up as a unit in Congress and said: "no public insurance option, no health care reform."

And I think the reason for that is -- in the time since I was there, 40 years ago, the Democratic Part has become like the Republican Party, deeply influenced by corporate money. I think Rahm Emanuel, who is a clever politician, understands that the money for Obama’s re-election will come from the health care industry, from the drug industry, from Wall Street. And so he’s a corporate Democrat who is determined that there won’t be something in this legislation that will turn off these interests. . . .

...Money has flowed in such a flood into both parties that the Democratic Party gets a lot of its support from the very interests that -- when the Republicans are in power -- financially support the Republicans.

You really have essentially -- except for the progressives on the left of the Democratic Party – you really have two corporate parties who in their own way and their own time are serving the interests of basically a narrow set of economic interests in the country."

RICK SANCHEZ, CNN ANCHOR: I’m going to be telling you about a story that we just learned about. This is amazing, this e-mail I received moments ago. It is an e-mail that came from a pastor who recently in a sermon said that he wants Sasha and Malia to be fatherless and that he wants Michelle Obama to be a widow.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVwfdaYuy1k..._embedded#t=260

That’s just the beginning of what you are about to hear. I will take you through it.

SANCHEZ: All right. Hello again, everybody. I’m Rick Sanchez with the next generation of news. This is a conversation. It is not a speech. And it is your turn to get involved.

It is my duty as a journalist to make you aware of a deeply disturbing trend taking that is taking place in our country and how it ironically folds into yet another story that I shared with you just last week.

A CNN source with very close to the U.S. Secret Service confirmed to me today that threats on the life of the president of the United States have now risen by as much as 400 percent since his inauguration, 400 percent death threats against Barack Obama — quote — “in this environment” go far beyond anything the Secret Service has seen with any other president.

Now, I need to have you keep in mind today as we add details to this story of what we’re going to share with you here. I want to take you back 11 days ago, when Mr. Obama visited Phoenix, Arizona. Do you remember this man? He’s one of a dozen or so people who carried guns to that presidential event that we have been checking on.

You may remember that we heard him say on camera that he is prepared to resort to forceful resistance against the Obama administration. Now, today, I want to tell you about the church that that man attends. And, in particular, I am going to play for you parts of the sermon that were delivered from the pulpit on the very day before the president arrived in Phoenix, Arizona.

This is important. This, my friends, I believe you will agree, is chilling.

PASTOR STEVEN ANDERSON, FAITHFUL WORD BAPTIST CHURCH: Tonight, I want to preach this sermon. And you have probably never heard a sermon like this before. Actually, you probably have if you have been coming to church here for a while. But you know what? Here is my sermon, why I hate Barack Obama. That’s my sermon tonight, because Barack Obama is coming to town tomorrow morning.

Barack Obama is coming to town. And he is going to be here tomorrow morning. Who knew that he was coming to town? I didn’t know. I just found out recently with his health care and everything like this.

And I’m going to tell you something. I hate Barack Obama. You say, well, you just mean you don’t like what he stands for. No, I hate the person. Oh, you mean you just don’t like his policies. No, I hate him.

SANCHEZ: There is more and it is much worse. First, I want you to know the voice you heard there was that of Pastor Steven Anderson of the Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona. On the day before the president’s visit, Mr. Anderson told his parishioners that he hates Barack Obama and wants him dead. This was Anderson from the pulpit saying the president deserves to die for supporting abortion rights. That is what he means when he uses the word violence. All right. Here is some more.

ANDERSON: What goes around comes around. You love violence. You hate that which is right. You love to harm others. You love to hurt or kill the unborn or the innocent or the righteous. He is saying, God is going to bring that upon your own head, because whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Now, turn back to Psalm 58 and let me ask you this question. Why should Barack Obama melt like a snail? Why should Barack Obama die like the untimely birth of a woman? Why should his children be fatherless and his wife a widow, as we read in this passage?

Well, I will tell you why. Because, since Barack Obama thinks it is OK to use a salty solution, right, to abort the unborn, because that’s how abortions are done, my friend, using salt — and I would like to see Barack Obama melt like a snail tonight.....

.....ANDERSON: You are going to tell me that I’m supposed to pray for the socialist devil, ......

The Council for National Policy leaders included Nelson Bunker Hunt, Edwin Meese III, Pat Robertson, Thomas Ellis, Alton Ochsner, Sr., Tim LaHaye and a few

others. Some of these guys have extensive experience in the demise of JFK. Google CNP spelled out and see what you find.
