IMO shows a lot of messin' around with the film and thus it can NOT be taken as the rosetta stone of events - more akin to the fake moon rock recently found to have been given by NASA via a US Ambassador to Holland http://news.aol.com/article/moon-rock-in-d...-is-just/642402! It's spoken by Hamlet's mother Gertrude as she watches a play (devised by Hamlet to make her squirm a little...) about a man who kills his brother and marries the widow -- essentially what's just happened in her own life, she being the widow. In the play, the woman is defending herself against accepting responsibility for her unsavory actions (marrying her dead husband's brother). Gertrude is basically saying that she would be a lot more believable if she weren't so vocal about her innocence.
