I’m not very far along, and unfortunatley I don't know who took that photo, but it looks very similar to another photograph that was more widely circulated and was perhaps taken by the same photographer. I think it appeared in the Time and/or Newsweek issues right after the assassination. Your photo looks to me to have been taken first, perhaps only seconds after the end of the shooting.
