Craig Lamson
Some people have a big problem with the word HACK. The question is why? Lets look at a few examples of what a "hack" is. From the Urban Dictionary: "a person who is a professional at doing some sort of service, but does crappy work." Ok, that appears to be a legimate discription of some posters on this forum in regard to many different subjects. How about this one, from Dictionary.com "to damage or injure by crude, harsh, or insensitive treatment; mutilate; mangle: The editor hacked the story to bits." Again applies to many on this forum who argue a variety of subjects. So whats the problem? Really? Edited February 8, 2010 by Evan Burton
