Todd W. Vaughan
This black man, standing alone on Houston Street, strangely has a pink toy dog under his left arm. Why? Anything conspiratorial here? Does the dog hide a hidden gun? Today, the Secret Service would likely throw him to the ground. Just one for the HUH? File. Jack Nonsense. The Nix film, shown here... http://www.jfk.org/go/collections/item-det...id=sfm:2000.001 ...clearly shows this man is carrying nothing more than a jacket. Oh how dull, Todd.<g> How can a hum drum ordinary jacket compete with a giant stuffed dog with an enormous head ... that morphs into a crying baby in a different film? LOL We once had a perfect, *perfect* I tell you, likeness of Abraham Lincoln's face, complete with stove pipe hat, in the grain of a cupboard door in a bathroom. One had to be enthroned just so to appreciate him though ... Bests, Barb :-)

John Dolva
As presented it could have been amongst other things a dog, baby, jacket, post delivery bag. However in context, (full frame, motion blur) the uniform indicates a postal delivery worker, walking, carrying back to the PO his bag after doing his rounds. (As pointed out, crops out of context and enlarged can be a rosarch test and nothing more) (anyone know the timing of deliveries at that era in Dallas, and even better postal delivery routes?) edit:typos Edited February 18, 2010 by John Dolva
Todd W. Vaughan
In Nix, enhancement reveals the man to be holding a baby in the crook of his left elbow.Looks like the kid is crying. Jack Jack, How in the word do you expect anyone to take you seriously when you claim that it "Looks like the kid is crying."? This is all becoming quite ridiculous. I defy you (or anyone) to watch the Nix film here… http://www.jfk.org/go/collections/item-det...id=sfm:2000.001 ...and tell us that that the object the man has under his arm is NOT clearly identifiable a jacket (with one of its sleeves dangling behind the man), particularly at the point where the film pans back to the right and the man turns to his right. It’s time to stop looking at individual still frames of questionable quality and try looking at a good quality version of the film in motion, as it was meant to be seen, before embarrassing yourself with anymore silly claims. John Dolva
That is good advice, Todd. In a few photos there is a person dressed similarly wering a jacket when the ''mystery bullet'' is palmed on the grass. He seems to be accompanying three other suited guys. I'm not saying they're the same people but if it's a post delivery guys uniform it helps id the guys the second ''gofer'' was with. edit:typo Edited February 18, 2010 by John Dolva
Jack White
PO worker with a delivery bag (empty)?. John, since you are in OZ, you can be forgiven for not knowing what U.S. postal delivery men and their bags look like. Jack

Jack White
Thank you Jack. Could you show contemporary photos of various Dallas postal workers please?edit: like this perhaps? Great laugh! No, not like that. Our postal workers wear blue, not khaki, and do not wear caps. I forget what date they stopped carrying bags. They have used motor vehicles for years and no longer walk routes.
