In January 2001 Lyndon LaRouche gave a webcast. During the Q&A pedriod he was asked a question by a member of the Black Caucus regarding Bush's nomination of John Ashcroft for Attorney General.

The answer LaRouche gave to the audience was far more insightful, going beyond the Ashcroft question where he spoke on the nature of the incoming Bush Administration and the problems they would have passing any meaningful policies.

LaRouche made the assessment that Bush and the people behind him would use certain "methods" in order to prevent any political opposition. What LaRouche suggested is that the Bush Administration would create "provocations" in order to create a situation of "crisis management" which would allow them to rule the country.

LaRouche mentions the "Special Warfare" types.

Lastly LaRouche warns that the Bush administration and those behind the scenes supporting Bush, when "pushed to the wall" would resort to provocations similiar to the Reichstag Fire, in order to "rule by emergency decree".

LaRouche said "That's their method, know it".

On September 11, 2001 the World Trade Center was destroyed along with the attack in Washington that created exactly the pre text LaRouche warned about. 911 allowed the still born Bush Administration to run policy from 2001 to 2009. This included the ill conceived War on Terror in Iraq and Afghanistan.
