That in itself could be a comparison. Part of the whole thing is to objectively test PC findings and not blindly accept them (or anything) as given. edit add: various rifles have overall characteristics. I think the FN49 semi had a particular pattern while prob diff from each other affected battle formation because of the uncomfortable right forward spit made a right diagonal formation unpleasant, (for example). Further were the other tests bench, horizontal or with the rifle pointing down at the required angles. Sure, it would show a consistency in pattern for THAT rifle. Which does not reflect at all on the actual rifle, which could in fact have a completely different pattern.
