Gil Jesus
Dallas DA Craig Watkins was interviewed on PBS Newshour last night. He said that EVERY ONE OF THE 25 PEOPLE WHOSE CONVICTIONS HAVE BEEN OVERTURNED BY DNA EVIDENCE WERE ORIGINALLY ID'd BY WITNESSES, just like Oswald, bringing to question how much pressure was placed on witnesses by Wade to ID "perpetrators" who were really not guilty of the crimes they were accused of. Here's the transcript of the interview: http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/law/jan-june11/texascase_01-04.html

I nominate Craig Watkins for MAN OF THE DECADE. If you look at the 25 wrongfully convicted individuals out of Dallas County, we can focus on one area, not just science, but the fact that eyewitness identification and the way it had been used in the past is flawed.Every one of these individuals that were wrongfully convicted were identified by a victim or a witness, and those identifications were wrong. Mark Haley
One of the 'comments' below the article is actually very critical. 'Warimashi' claims that Dupree was "never actually tried on the rape charge" and that "every detail of the story is wrong"...
