William Kelly Posted February 22, 2012 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Thanks for that one John, By coincidence the White House sponsored a special blues concert last night (Tuesday) Feb. 21, that reportedly included B. B. King (who I have seen perform dozens of times), Eric Clapton (another white guy) and others I have yet to identify. From what I understand, the show was recorded by Public Broadcasting Service and will be televised tomorrow night - Thursday - Feb. 23rd. Clapton is also scheduled to peform Friday night at the Apollo Theater in Harlem NYC in a tribute to Hubert Sumlin', best know as Howlin' Wolf's guitarist who recently passed away. If anybody can get me tickets to the Harlem show at the Apollo it would be greatly appreciated.
