Mike Rago
The shot at Zapruder frame 313 exited at the right temple of JFK. It can clearly be seen in the following animated gif. The primary force of that bullet went that way. The bullet entered near the top of his head. It had a very steep downward trajectory, from left to right. This is why very little forward movement of JFK is seen in Zapruder frame 313. Edited June 27, 2012 by Mike Rago
Richard Hocking
Mike, How would you interpret that same X-Ray for the next head-shot that came from the front right?
Mike Rago
Mike, How would you interpret that same X-Ray for the next head-shot that came from the front right? I believe the second shot caused the damage to the back of the skull that I have put in an ellipse. The black area in the x-ray is missing skull caused by the first shot. David Andrews
The exit site for the rear entrance wound you describe depends on the temporal "flap" shown in the autopsy photos having been seen at Parkland hospital.
