To repeat my work is based on PD Scotts Dallas Conspiracy not Mr. Jones. I dont know of any link to Penn Jones material.

LOL and you get all hot and bothered when I suggest you don't read the links you post here. In post # 27 you posted a link to a post by Bill Kelly that was largely based on an excerpt from one of Jones' books.

My copy of Dallas Conspiracy is so fragile Id hate to put it on my scan machine.

You could just type out the appropriate passages, but your copy being fragile would be all the more reason to scan it you could save it for posterity. Since it is extremely rare and IYHO so important you could do the world a favor by posting key excerpts on the Net. And didn't Scott repeat any findings in his later works?

And are you telling us Scott pushed the “Lansky, the British, and the Rothschilds” killed JFK theory?

Good books seem like kryptonite to you. Why dont you just get this IMHO ultra important tome ??

LOL you must know by now I don't value your opinion but even if I did TDC is a very rare 40 year-old unpublished manuscript, it's not like I could order it from Amazon

Gary Mack sent me the follow almost a week ago but I forgot to post it:

Hi Len,

Such silliness from Gaal! What until he finds out prominent pro-conspiracy researcher Mary Ferrell worked for Locke Purnell in Purnell's office for years and years. And how come the CTs aren't mentioning that the Belo-owned Dallas Morning News was the only newspaper to mention RFK Jr's recent reference to the CIA possibly being behind the assassination? And why don't they ever mention that, once the Dallas Times Herald broke the story in 1975 that the FBI destroyed Oswald's note, the Dallas Morning News immediately did followup stories confirming the note's destruction and adding additional information? For that matter, how come the CTs never mention the dreaded Hugh Aynesworth (and Tom Johnson, the future head of the LBJ Foundation) were the Times Herald reporters who did that story? Why Why Why?????? :)

Gee never said that for I just said ,"Ferrell's activities were a site of much monitoring by the plotters."

Get it ? She was monitored.

((((Locke Purnell Rain Harrell (A Professional Corporation), a predecessor to Locke Liddell & Sapp LLP (now Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP)—the same law firm for which Harriet Miers spent most of her career.))))

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Now Mr. Mack is pulling your leg. It was a issue of MF being spook for years on the JFK forums. I never got into that.

I just got into Locke/Purnell and the parade route. Oh yes, one other issue that Locke Purnell (LP) merged with Rain Harrell.

So Locke Purnell Rain Harrell (LPRH) was the lawfirm that represented Mr. Macks employer the 6th Floor Coverup, Oops Ah ,Ah Museum. One time I asked him at a JFK forum to just call up his companies (LPRH) (YALE Skull & Bones ???) attorney and ask him about any assasination info. Well Mr. Mack got upset. Oh yeah LPRH was the personal attorney (not business) of one

G "W" Bush. Maybe they helped coverup his Houston drug rehab stuff. (BTW the rehab place in Houston was for drugs not alcohol as the Bush family suggest) SO SEE THIS FOR LPRH CIA CONNECTIONS

ISI hires US attorneys, pleads immunity in 26/11 case

Chidanand Rajghatta, TNN | May 12, 2011, 02.19am IST

WASHINGTON: American attorneys hired by Pakistan's spy agency ISI have pleaded immunity for their clients in the Mumbai 26/11 terrorism case by questioning jurisdiction of US courts in the matter and arguing that the US government has designated Pakistan "a critical friend and ally," effectively giving it political and diplomatic cover.

In a May 6 brief filed before a New York district court in a case brought against ISI and its current and former chief by relatives of American victims of the 26/11 carnage allegedly masterminded by the spy outfit, attorneys Kevin Walsh and Allen Wasserman, citing case law, maintained that "under fundamental principles of international law long accepted by the courts of the United States, ISI, as a 'foreign sovereign' is immune from the jurisdiction of this court."

Likewise, in reference to the defendants named in the case, Ahmed Shuja Pasha and Nadeem Taj (current and former ISI chiefs), the brief maintained that the "Director General Defendants, officials of a foreign sovereign sued for acts taken in their official capacity, are similarly immune under common law principles of 'foreign official immunity' long recognized by US courts."

Walsh and Wasserman are NewYork-based attorneys with the Dallas-based Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP, whose lobbying arm, Locke Lord Strategies, represents the Pakistani government in Washington. The firm's principal partner Mark Siegel, a close friend of the late Benazir Bhutto, has served as Pakistan's lobbyist from 1988-1990, from 1993-1996, and again from 2008 to date, each time the Bhutto's Pakistan People's Party (PPP) has been in power.

Maintaining that the Pakistani government "regards any assertion of jurisdiction over its high officials" by a US court "as an intrusion on its sovereignty, in violation of international law," the 35-page brief sought to transport the issue into a political ambit by asserting that federal court lacked jurisdiction to consider cases involving "political questions."

They asserted that political branches, with constitutional responsibility for foreign affairs, "have reached and are acting on a considered policy decision declaring Pakistan a 'critical friend and ally' of the U.S with 'common goals' including 'combating terrorism and violent extremism...those branches have repeatedly characterized the alliance with Pakistan against common-enemy terrorists as vital to...American security."'

The case in the New York District Court filed by relatives of American victims of 26/11 is different from the US prosecution of Pakistani-American expat Tahawwur Rana in a Chicago court.

While charging alleged ISI personnel and assets such as "Major Iqbal" and Ilyas Kashmiri in the indictment, the Obama administration, ostensibly because of diplomatic considerations, has avoided outright naming the Pakistani spy agency in the case despite admissions by Rana and his associate David Headley that they were acting on behalf of the ISI.

On the flip side, it has now emerged (through Wikileaks disclosure) that the United States considers ISI a "terrorist support entity" in all but formal designation. Representatives of the American plaintiffs who have filed the suit against ISI say the developments, including the indictment in Chicago and the aftermath of the bin Laden raid, make their case stronger.

But as the brief on behalf of ISI suggests, the case is more political and diplomatic, with Pakistan taking cover behind the U.S international exigencies. The expectation is that the Obama administration will use the opportunity to try and extract better cooperation from Pakistan instead of pursuing the cause of justice and punishing the guilty, and conversely, Pakistan will talk its way out of trouble by promising more cooperation.

COMMENTS:

The DOJ "avoided outright naming the Pakistani spy agency in the case despite admissions by Rana and his associate David Headley that they were acting on behalf of the ISI"? Yeah, as I said here, Re: EXCLUSIVE-PART1: Al Qaeda Excluded from the Suspects List, David Coleman Headley was a "paid US informant for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)" and a CIA asset. That's why Tahawwur Hussain Rana "planted" Headley in LET [Lashkar-e-Toiba] and HUJI [Harkat-ul-Jihad-Al-Islami]. Here's the story on LET & HUJI:

"Between 6,000 and 10,000 Muslims, the majority of them Arabs, went and fought against the Soviet troops in Afghanistan, with Saudi Arabia funding them, the ISI training and motivating them and the CIA and other Western intelligence agencies equipping them. Osama bin Laden, then a blue-eyed boy of the CIA, played an active role in the training and motivation of these mercenaries and led them to battle against the Soviet troops.... The most important amongst them were the Harkat-ul-Mujahideen (HUM), the Harkat-ul-Jihad-Al-Islami (HUJI) and the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LET)....

The Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM) was formed in the beginning of 2000 by a split in the HUM.....

the CIA asked the ISI to divert part of the dregs of the HUM and the HUJI to Bosnia to assist the Muslims there in their fight against the Serbs. The transfer to Bosnia was funded by the Saudi Intelligence, the arms and ammunition were given by the Iranian Intelligence and the leadership and motivation were provided by serving and retired officers of the ISI and the Turkish intelligence. Omar Sheikh, who masterminded the kidnapping of Daniel Pearl of the "Wall Street Journal", had his jihadi inoculation in Bosnia just as bin Laden had his in Afghanistan. From Bosnia, they were diverted to Kosovo by the CIA ....."

The "Mumbai 26/11 terrorism case" is a reference to the 2008 Mumbai attacks "often referred to as November 26 or 26/11."

"Attorneys Kevin Walsh and Allen Wasserman, citing case law, maintained that 'under fundamental principles of international law long accepted by the courts of the United States, ISI, as a 'foreign sovereign' is immune from the jurisdiction of this court'"? On this thread, Judge Reinstates Lawsuit Over Wiretapping, I explained why Baker Botts, a Bush crony law firm, got Saudi defense minister, Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and his brother, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the governor of Riyadh, off the hook in the 9-11 lawsuit with a "sovereign immunity" defense. These two and other Saudi officials were accused of fund-raising and donating to charity fronts used in the CIA's Afghan and Balkans operations. Pakistan's ISI was also used in these operations with Lashkar-e-Toiba [LET]. In fact, LET was started with funding from a front for US intelligence called the "Afghan Bureau." This "Afghan Bureau" was also called the "Afghan Services Bureau," Mektab al-Khidmat [MAK or MK or Alkifah], "which was "established by Sheikh Abdullah Azzam and Osama Bin Laden to support jihad in Afghanistan and around the world." The Alkifah Refugee Center in Brooklyn was an "outpost" of this "Afghan Bureau." Extradition of Mumbai Terror Suspects Looks Unlikely

"More than a week after the 60-hour ordeal in India’s commercial capital ended, security agencies launched a crackdown on the outlawed Islamist group Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and a closely linked legal organization called Jamaat ud-Dawa (JuD), focusing on facilities in the Pakistan-controlled part of disputed Kashmir and elsewhere in the country.

Security officials told Pakistani media that around two dozen people had been arrested, among them LeT chief of operations Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi. He reportedly was on a list of around 20 wanted individuals that India handed to Pakistani diplomats after the attacks....

According to a U.S. Treasury Department document issued last May, Lakhvi directed LeT’s military operations not just in South Asia but also in Chechnya, Bosnia, Iraq and South-East Asia....

Wilson John, a senior fellow with the Observer Research Foundation in New Delhi, said LeT was launched as an armed wing of a precursor to the JuD, first set up in 1987 by Saeed and two other Islamic scholars, one of whom was Abdullah Azzam.Azzam, who taught at Islamabad’s International Islamic University, was a Palestinian religious scholar who together with Osama bin Laden ran a center in Peshawar, northwest Pakistan, during the 1980s. Known as the Afghan Bureau, the center facilitated the mujahideen campaign against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan (After Azzam died in a 1989 bomb blast, bin Laden took over the bureau and developed what would become known as al-Qaeda.)

John said the Afghan Bureau provided $200,000 in seed money for LeT to set up headquarters in Muridke, near Lahore. He said its armed operations in 1987-8 focused on Afghanistan, but with the campaign there waning it began to turn its attention towards the Indian-administered portion of Kashmir, and India itself...."

The CIA considered Abdullah Azzam to be the their "prime asset because of his close connections to the Muslim Brotherhood, Saudi intelligence, and the Muslim World League." Azzam "headed the Islamic Coordination Council in Peshawar, which generally supervised the military activities of the Arab mujaheddin." According to Congressional testimony [pp.6,7,26], the International Islamic Relief Organisation (IIRO) was part of this Islamic Coordination Council and later arrived on the scene for the jihad in Bosnia. In the early 1990's during the Bosnian war, LET had direct contact with IIRO. And who built that LET "headquarters in Muridke"? A terrorist plot unearthed:

"Syed Abu Nasir, a top Lashkar-e-Taiba activist (is) alleged to have been supervising an operation to bomb the U.S. Consulates in Chennai and Calcutta.... He began working for the International Islamic Relief Organisation (IIRO) in 1991. The Saudi Arabia-based IIRO is engaged in charitable work in strife-torn areas such as Bosnia. It has also been closely associated with the billionaire terrorist Osama bin Laden. Transferred to the IIRO office in Bangkok and then to Lahore, Nasir made contact with the Lashkar-e-Taiba establishment, including...the Markaz Dawa wal'Irshad, Hafiz Mohammad Sayeed......

By 1994, Nasir was involved with the Lashkar-e-Taiba deeply enough to volunteer for an arms training course in Kunnad, Afghanistan. That camp and the Lashkar-e-Taiba's sprawling base camp...in Muridke near Lahore were both in essence U.S. creations.... The construction of the (Muridke) complex was one of the first major CIA-backed moves to create a base for operations against the Soviet Union-supported Government in Afghanistan."

That's exactly how these networks were designed to work. After the Cold War, these institutions from the CIA's Afghan operations moved on to the Balkans. The use of LET in US intelligence operations continued in the Balkans with the Pakistani ISI. Note that the US Treasury even states in their press releases that this wanted terrorist Lakhvi "directed LeT’s military operations" in Bosnia. I have found out so much damning information from these Treasury press releases that I wonder if they figure that nobody bothers to read them or maybe they just think that we are too dumb to put two and two together and get four. This report is dated June 5, 1999:

"It is not widely known that the working relationship between the ISI and the CIA continues to be strong, though possibly not as strong as during the Afghan war. During Mrs.Benazir Bhutto's second tenure as Prime Minister from 1993 to 1996, the CIA had used the ISI for training the Bosnian Muslims and for acting as a conduit for the supply of arms and ammunition to them. The supplies were made from the surplus stocks of the Afghan war weapons left with the ISI. Many retired ISI officers, including Lt.Gen. Hamid Gul, DG of the ISI in the late 1980s, were deputed to Bosnia to act as advisers to the Bosnian Muslims. The US did not look upon the HUM (Harkat-ul-Mujahideen) and the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LET) as terrorist organisations at that time and had encouraged them to go to Bosnia to assist the local Muslims against the Serbs.

Similarly, the ISI has been closely involved since the beginning of this year in the training of the Kosovo Liberation Army and in the supply of arms and ammunition to them. By using the ISI as the intermediary, the CIA is able to maintain its deniability of any role in training and arming the KLA. Mr.Shabaz Sharif, the brother of Mr.Nawaz Sharif, and the Chief Minister of Punjab, has been co-ordinating this operation for the training of the KLA and had made a low-profile visit to Washington at the beginning of the NATO air strikes for discussions with officials of the CIA and the State and Defence Departments on this issue."

During the 1990's, LET also conveniently had a branch in Virginia. Randall Royer, aka Ismail Royer said that when he was in Bosnia, he got involved with LET and that's why he went to fight in Kashmir. In 1994, Royer had "quit college for a semester to enlist with Bosnian forces warring with the Serbs." According to his own account, he was influenced by US media stories on the Serbs' "rape camps." This was disinformation put out by PR firms, such as Ruder Finn. German TV reporter Martin Lettmayer "discovered that Serbian 'rape camps' did not exist." Royer himself seemed to have good PR skills. When Royer returned from Bosnia, he "began a cycle of travel between Bosnia and Washington that would become routine." He had jobs with the Council on American-Islamic Relations [CAIR], the Muslim American Society, and the American Muslim Council. All of these groups belonged to the Kosova Task Force, which was "a reincarnation of Bosnia Task Force, USA."

Well, this LET group in Virginia probably became a diplomatic problem for the Bush administration, as India became a growing regional power. Nobody in Washington political circles seemed to care about the Bosnian Serbs, but India was another story. At the trial in 2003, defense attorney in the LET in Virginia case, Stanley Cohen said that "the Neutrality Act cannot be used because the US has in fact favoured Pakistan over India" in Kashmir and the US has "indirectly" supported LET. He said that he would demand "classified reports from the US government to support his contention." I do remember that later on in this LET case that prosecutors concentrated more on LET ties to the Taliban and the jihadist rhetoric.

Given these decades of history of the CIA, ISI, and LET, it would be a disaster for the US "intelligence community" if these Pakistani ISI officials or former ISI officials were not granted immunity or if they were allowed to testify.

Walsh and Wasserman are "with the Dallas-based Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP, whose lobbying arm, Locke Lord Strategies, represents the Pakistani government in Washington. The firm's principal partner Mark Siegel, a close friend of the late Benazir Bhutto, has served as Pakistan's lobbyist from 1988-1990, from 1993-1996, and again from 2008 to date"? This information about Mark Siegel and the “Islamic Republic of Pakistan” is confirmed on Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell's own website. Then Siegel knows all about ISI collaboration with the CIA during the Bosnian war and the Afghan war against the Soviet army. Isn't it interesting that, according to the website of this law firm:

"Harriet Miers is a member of our Litigation and Public Policy sections and a former managing partner of Locke Liddell & Sapp....

For her work as Counsel to the President, Ms. Miers received the Department of Justice Edmund J. Randolph Award in January of 2007 for her "dedicated service to justice, the President, and the United States of America." She also received the Agency Seal Medal awarded by the Central Intelligence Agency, an award given by the CIA to people outside the Agency who have made significant contributions to the work of the Agency."

I remember that nobody could figure out why President GW Bush would nominate Harriet Miers to be on the Supreme Court. Well, he probably figured that some of the acts that he authorized the CIA to do were illegal and that some of these cases could be appealed to the Supreme Court, including Guantanamo cases: Torture Memo Author Advocated Presidential Pardons, Jury Nullification

"It has now emerged (through Wikileaks disclosure) that the United States considers ISI a 'terrorist support entity' in all but formal designation"? That's not accurate. This Wikileaks document came from some document "leaked" from Guantanamo, not from any credible source. This is what these reports from Wikileaks said: Guantánamo leaks lift lid on world's most controversial prison:

"US authorities listed the main Pakistani intelligence service, the Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate (ISI), as a terrorist organisation alongside groups such as al-Qaida, Hamas, Hezbollah and Iranian intelligence.

Interrogators were told to regard links to any of these as an indication of terrorist or insurgent activity....

The inclusion of association with the ISI as a "threat indicator" in this document is likely to pour fuel on the flames of Washington's already strained relationship with its key regional ally. A number of the detainee files also contain references, apparently based on intelligence reporting, to the ISI supporting, co-ordinating and protecting insurgents fighting coalition forces in Afghanistan, or even assisting al-Qaida...."

There is no way for independent reporters or sources to verify anything that happens in Guantanamo. The Pentagon can make up any story or create any documents. Since many of these Guantanamo prisoners were involved in the CIA's Afghan and Balkans operations, as I have documented on other threads, these interrogators will question detainees on their contacts with the Pakistani ISI. And Pakistani ISI ties with the Taliban are not exactly a secret. But as to whether this was in a context of ties to terrorist organizations is another question, which I don't think can be answered with the restricted public access to Guantanamo.

As to ISI relations with the Haqqani network and Afghan Taliban factions, the Obama administration will no doubt exploit these ties to pull off this Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) pipeline. Note from this report, Resumption of dialogue: Islamabad to host trilateral talks on Afghan endgame, that "official sources" have admitted that US envoy Marc Grossman’s "mandate is confined to looking after the reconciliation efforts with the Afghan Taliban." Also "US Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen accused the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of backing the Haqqani network and providing 'safe havens' for the Afghan Taliban." As I said in my comments on that thread, the Pakistani ISI will be continuing their historic role of providing "deniability" for US intelligence in dealing with this Haqqani network in the Pakistan-Afghan border region and with Afghan Taliban factions. This TAPI route is the same gas pipeline route, which was the subject of Unocal-Taliban negotiations in 1997-1998. This means that ties between the US and Pakistani military and intelligence agencies will actually be strengthened. NATO Trains Afghan Army To Guard Asian Pipeline: TAPI "will have to cross Taliban-controlled regions and Pakistan’s troubled border region."

I'm not interested in following your attempted derails re:Miers and the ISI, I assume the reaction of most people was the same as mine TL;DR, I'd be surprised if there were any exceptions.

And I'm still waiting for evidence in support of your babble about “Lansky, the British, and the Rothschilds, this now the 6th time I've asked you. You claim to have gotten if from PD Scott, OK then what were his exact words and on what page of the manuscript do they appear..
