Evan Burton Posted December 15, 2012 Share Posted December 15, 2012 On another forum we were discussing the probable crews if Apollo 18, 19 and 20 had flown. A member pointed out that the crew for Apollo 18 (assuming the 17 / 18 crew swap had not taken place due to the cancellation of 18 - 20) would have been Dick Gordon (CDR), Vance Brand (CMP) and Jack Schmitt (LMP). On that mission, they would have been the 13th Apollo crew (including Apollo 1) and Gordon would have been the 13th moonwalker. Add to it that "Richard Gordon" has 13 letters...... Spooky.
