Guest Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Have finally got round to using some of your august efforts in a lesson plan for the end of term http://www.educationforum.co.uk/moon.htm I will upload the best presentation at the end of the week
Guest Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Interestingly the most able students were able to see the holes in conspiracy arguments quite quickly. The less able tended to fasten on to lazy arguments about photography and then stoutly defend them despite the evidence and regardless of the strength of the evidence.... Not unlike here in its heyday in fact! I haven't uploaded any of the presentation yet as I haven't got the permissions.
Evan Burton Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 It is interesting to see the differing standards of proof that young people can apply, and how that can change. Some will accept anything shown on YouTube as 'proof'; other display a far more discerning approach. It is heartening to note that some young people see the error of their ways, examine what they accept, apply standards to it then re-assess their conclusions.
Terry Felter Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 It is good that some younger folks have that ability, instead of just watching a HB video on YT and come away with the wrong idea/perception. Good for you!
