Ray Mitcham Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 According to a posting on Duncan's forum, Ray Carroll has "been banned" form this forum. In view of his recent posts, I can understand why.
Mark Knight Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I feel sad for J. Ray...as I would for anyone else who goes through such a public "crash-and-burn". I can't say this with any authority, but from a layman's point of view, it seemed that he and reality were becoming no more than just passing acquaintances.
Terry Adams Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 (edited) Sad, because I feel that he was a dedicated researcher over the years that I have been here. To Raymond, my best wishes are for you. I hope that you continue to enjoy your life and your music. Edited September 18, 2013 by Terry Adams
William Kelly Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I think Ray has been suspended, not banned, and will be permitted back if he refrains from making off topic posts, including unrelated poetry and music - there is a section of the forum for those topics - and makes his contributions when he is drinking beer and not whiskey. I think he has some serious contributions to make if he will refrain from behaving badly.

That's good news BK - It appears to me his heart is usually always in the right place and besides, he is practically part of the furniture around here. Steve
Larry Hancock Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I want to second Steve's remarks, I have no doubt Ray's heart is in the right place and I hope things work out for him. He seems to be the sort of fellow who I would enjoy having spent some time in a pub with and I wish him the best, Larry
