Dr. Robert R. Shaw, Connally's attending physician, said the Governor ''seems to have been struck by just one bullet, which entered the back of his chest and moved outward, taking out and fragmenting a portion of a rib. The bullet is still in the leg. It hasn't been removed.

That's not Dr. Shires dressed in scrubs next to Dr. Shaw at Shaw's press conference. It's Bill Stinson, aide to Governor Connally.

I just saw the older thread about this (and all the many comparison photos). Seems you are right.

In any event, the video is compelling
