The Silence of the Historians is an essay written by David Mantik. It is among my favorite works on the subject. While many of us can easily

see the lack of courage being displayed by members of the media who conveniently fail to report news items that even though are relevant

to the public interest somehow conflict with their relationship with "the powers that be" -- we don't seem to hold the historians to that same

standard. But we should.

Very interesting and relevant Greg. Thanks for the info. I also find it strangely peculiar (perhaps exhaustion from other research?) that none of them even attempts to look deeper into the tragic death of JFK Jr. John Hankey is one of the very few who have looked into that event (which is actually very good save for a couple of points, far more accurate than his JFK Sr work) by relying primarily on public records and eyewitness testimony to make his case.
