The distinguished and late Prof at American U also said there were no "Smoking documents" among the released records - when there are.

She also wrote a chapter in an anthology book about government secrecy and got a half dozen things wrong - including the fallacy that the JFK Act was passed to put conspiracy theories to rest - when in fact it was passed to release the government's records on the assassination to the public so people could make up their own minds.
