David Carrell Posted July 9, 2015 Share Posted July 9, 2015 David Carrell is a 34-year-old retired Army veteran. He has been married for 13 years with two children and resides in New York. He served in Iraq for forty-nine months throughout four deployments as an Abrams tank commander. In 2012, David was in the inaugural Warrior-Scholar Project at Yale University. This led him to Vassar College where he is currently a senior working towards a history degree. David is the Co-Founder of Operation Veteran Admission, an organization that is designed to recruit veterans in the Hudson Valley to attend institutions of higher education.
