The party needs fresh blood. Bernie Sanders comes across as an angry old white man to me.  I like Warren but she's old too.

Tulsi Gabbard looks like a very attractive candidate for 2020.  She'll only be 40 years old in 2020. She served in the military and is a Hindu which to me is attractive as well.  I think she, far more than HC, would be a better first female president.

Cliff you're so, so funny about this "$30 billion jobs program."  It's hilarious.  How in the world do you think it would have EVER gotten through the "just say no" Republican Congress?  Obama could barely pass the ACA and he pretty much watered it down so much and gave away the keys to the cabin too.  And many of his other legislative programs were shot down as well.

You're delusional if you think HC would have made a difference.  It would have just been more of the same as with Obama - he proposes something, the Red Republicans would have called it socialism/irresponsible/whatever like they always do, and it would have died in session.  All the while those same Congressmen wear their little flags on their lapels and say they're for god and country while taking money from their corporate sponsors (lobbyists) to not pass ANYTHING that would disrupt their corporate way of life.

And don't forget - Corporations [registered trademark] Are People Too, so they have all the rights now and can afford to support those rights with corporate dollars.

The repugnant party is going to repeal Medicare in the first 100 days of the Orange man's term. Medicare will be replaced with a voucher program that will increase cost to seniors of up to $12K. Don't believe it? Look it up for yourself. This will cause civil unrest, millions of seniors taking g to the streets and a tsunami for Democrats in 2018 and 2020.

This part of Paul Ryan's " A Better Way " that they are pushing. Social Security will be next a few months later. I hear people say that they would never do this. It's already in the plan.

By having the people affected by it vote in a Democratic House.

There was an outside chance of that before all the e-mail stuff began piling up.

The American people are tired of gridlock, and if the election had been run without outside interference we may have ended up with the Dems in power.

But because of outside interference we have the GOP in power.

I am amazed that some of you are still totally out of touch with why Trump won.

The Media missed it, admitted they missed it and have come around to the stark realization.

Yet some still refuse to listen to what the American public just said. It was beyond partisan. How do you guys not see that?

wow.

I'm thinkin' "bust" is your option at this point.

perhaps both parties will begin looking at personnel without canes and with all their teeth in the near future.

seems one has started doing so a little earlier than the other.

Oh I get it, Glenn. People saw their lives get worse as unemployment rose to 10%. It's dropped since but wages haven't risen. Many of them blamed it on the incumbent party and decided to try the other party.

People see those in power in constant gridlock, so they decided to elect an outsider.

Many were convinced that Hillary is corrupt, so they decided to vote for the opposition.

What surprises me is that so many people would vote for someone who said the the appalling  things Trump said.

But I guess that goes to show that many people will vote in their own (perceived) interest in spite of how detestable a candidate is.

Less than 25% of the American electorate voted for Trump.

A couple of million more voted for Hillary.

So enough talk about what "the American public" wanted.

Sandy, thank you for your patriotism.

Trump supporters -- no thanks for your fascism-apologia.

Sandy - I guess it's how someone defines "detestable," isn't it. And "gullible."

Cliff - your poor credibility is only surpassed by your poor numbers and your poor ideas of "patriotism." You should quit while you're behind.

Cliff, by your picture I want to guess that you're at least 40 years old. Let me ask you this.

Have you complained about the Electoral College process EVERY election, or just the ones that don't go your way?

Excellent points.

A lot of Trump supporters are going to wake up with their health care stolen and still no new jobs in the Rust Belt.

Thank you for your patriotism, Tom
