David Rayner
Ordnance Survey digital maps are now available for schools through the new data supply web site at: MapsDirect This new service has two parts: 1. it enables all schools to buy OS Land-Line digital data to use with GIS software 2. it allows you to access and work with the new OS Mastermap data on-line. There is a FREE trial period for the new OS Mastermap on-line service that ends on 26 March, so register early to make the most of this opportunity. You can work online or print out the OS Mastermaps to use in lessons. If you try the new service, please give some feedback on this forum so that others can see how easy it is to use (or not) and how useful it is (or not). You can also give suggestions for using digital maps and/or the new online mapping service in lessons. GeoDave
