Is it an assumption that only Russian outlets were propogating bogus news a year ago? Are American outlets being investigated as propogating bogus news? Is there such a thing as bogus news if it comes from the US,? Is it only bogus if it is both false and foreign? I don't see us having much luck prosecuting purveyors of bogus news if we are trying to say that we are the only ones that can do that to ourselves.
