W. Niederhut
Just now, W. Niederhut said: Rob, I agree with your observations about 9/11 and the Neocon establishment but, for a "loose cannon," Trump has been dead silent about 9/11 since 2016. And Michael Wolf claimed in Fire and Fury that Adelson, Singer, et.al., bribed Trump to become a "Neocon mule" back in 2016. Trump has, certainly, gone along with the Neocon agenda to withdraw from the international Iranian nuclear disarmament deal and escalate conflicts with the Iranian/Shiite Axis in the Middle East. He also launched Tomahawks at Syrian government positions twice, in response to false flag "chemical weapons" attacks. Trump always follows Sutton's Law, in lieu of a moral compass. He goes where the money is.

Douglas Caddy
Barr says he is unsure that voting twice is illegal, although there is a federal statute that says that a person convicted of doing so can be sentenced to five years and have a $10,000 fine imposed. https://theweek.com/speedreads/935580/attorney-general-barr-wont-agree-illegal-vote-twice-trump-urged-claims-ignorance-state-laws

Ron Ecker
Somewhere on this forum (this thread?), and I don't remember why, there was some discussion of "The T.A.M.I. Show," which I had never heard of before. For those interested, it's on Turner Classic Movies tomorrow night (Friday, Sept. 4) at 8 PM EST. It's followed at 10:15 by "Let the Good Times Roll" from 1973, with Little Richard, Chuck Berry, and Bo Diddley. Looks like a musical evening.

Steve Thomas
The Minority Report Florida sheriff created algorithm to predict who would commit crimes — then had cops harass them: report https://www.rawstory.com/2020/09/florida-sheriff-created-algorithm-to-predict-who-would-commit-crimes-then-had-cops-harass-them-report/ “The department created a 30-person intelligence department and devised an algorithm to predict who was likely to commit crimes in the future. “One of the people caught up in this system was 15-year-old Rio Wojtecki, who was identified as a future crime risk for stealing motorized bicycles.” “Those were the only charges against Rio, and he already had a state-issued juvenile probation officer checking on him. Yet from September 2019 to January 2020, Pasco Sheriff’s deputies went to his home at least 21 times, dispatch logs show,” said the report. “They showed up at the car dealership where his mom worked, looked for him at a friend’s house and checked his gym to see if he had signed in.” Even after acknowledging he wasn’t getting in trouble or doing anything suspicious, they continued to harass him.” “In another case, said the report, “Deputies gave the mother of one teenage target a $2,500 fine because she had five chickens in her backyard. They arrested another target’s father after peering through a window in his house and noticing a 17-year-old friend of his son smoking a cigarette inside. As they make checks, deputies feed information back into the system, not just on the people they target, but on family members, friends and anyone else in the target’s orbit.”“ Steve Thomas

David Andrews
4 hours ago, Ron Ecker said: “No animal — nobody — what animal would say such a thing?" - Donald Trump https://apnews.com/b823f2c285641a4a09a96a0b195636ed As quoted from the same Atlantic story, in the Greg Olear piece cited in my post just above: On Memorial Day 2017, Trump visited Arlington National Cemetery, a short drive from the White House. He was accompanied on this visit by John Kelly, who was then the secretary of homeland security, and who would, a short time later, be named the White House chief of staff. [...] A first lieutenant in the Marine Corps, Robert Kelly was killed in 2010 in Afghanistan. He was 29. Trump was meant, on this visit, to join John Kelly in paying respects at his son’s grave, and to comfort the families of other fallen service members. But according to sources with knowledge of this visit, Trump, while standing by Robert Kelly’s grave, turned directly to his father and said, “I don’t get it. What was in it for them?” Kelly (who declined to comment for this story) initially believed, people close to him said, that Trump was making a ham-handed reference to the selflessness of America’s all-volunteer force. But later he came to realize that Trump simply does not understand non-transactional life choices. Edited September 4, 2020 by David Andrews
Robert Wheeler
Who is going to replace Biden? I actually feel sorry for the guy.
