May be art of 1 person

What a perversely incongruous image.

The man who okayed Geneva Convention violating torture of prisoners painting an image of his own creation?

Maybe some guilty reflection there? Anybody's guess what inspired Jr. to paint such an image?

Just went to our first film in a theater in over 1 1/2 years. Saw the film "The Card Counter."

Speaking of the subject of the use of torture under the Bush/Cheney Rumsfeld terms.

Just to be a smartass, I suppose I would have asked the kid if he was wondering about the northernmost point on the earth, or if he was wondering about the North Pole in the sky. Because of the precession of the equinoxes, the North Pole shifts every 26,000 years or so.

https://www.glyphweb.com/esky/concepts/northerncelestialpole.html

"Polaris hasn't always been the Pole Star. In fact, it has only been close to the Pole for the last thousand years or so, and over the next millennium it will gradually move further away. This is because the Earth's motion is constantly affected by the pull of other bodies in the Solar System, especially the Moon and the Sun, which causes a 'wobble' in its orbit. This, in turn, causes the Pole to move relative to the stars.

Prominent Pole Stars

Thuban

Kochab

The effect of this wobble (properly called precession) is that both Celestial Poles follow a broad circle through the sky. For most of the time, there is no Pole Star at all, but occasionally the Pole will pass near a conspicuous star - we are lucky to live in a time when Polaris fulfils this role. For the ancient Egyptians, the Pole Star was not Polaris, but Thuban in Draco, while observers in the far future will see yet other stars at the Northern Celestial Pole."

The British press gives us the latest in barely supportable premises linking 9/11 and current events, to be followed certainly by more linkages of 9/11 truthers and QAnon:

Covid kills a 9/11’s worth of Americans every three days. The vaccine mandate shouldn’t be controversial

It's a good job large-scale murder happens, I'd say...

This guy could get away with saying things no other comedian could.

He actually lost his job at SNL news for his news commentary about OJ at the bottom, because he stepped on NBC executive  Don Ohlmeyer's, toes, who was a friend of OJ.

Norm Mac Donald dead at 61.    RIP

Tsk, tsk, that ol' Globalist agenda.  You didn't see MSM headlines like this about Spiro Agnew:

NBC News

Mike Pence is the worst kind of coward. A new book about Trump proves it.

Those stubborn "alternative facts"

Can you imagine historians looking back on our time and writing about us living in alternate realities?

Rachel Maddow talks about Earth 1 and Earth 2.

Back here in the real world...

Alternate reality is an accurate description of the Trumpster worldview in the U.S. today.

It's about shared delusions and mass denial of reality, including the denial of science.
