Henry Frost
It's a well known psychological reaction that when some people try to evade the truth, their blink rate increases. When Clay Shaw was asked if he knew Oswald or David Ferrie, his blink rate goes off the charts: And no, he doesn't blink throughout the whole interview. This doesn't mean he was guilty of any crime, but it might indicate he knew Oswald and/or Ferrie. Edited September 6, 2022 by Henry Frost
James DiEugenio
I think this is also the one in which he said he was not involved with the CIA.
Henry Frost
40 minutes ago, James DiEugenio said: I think this is also the one in which he said he was not involved with the CIA. That's right, from the video: Question: You have never yourself had any CIA connection? Shaw: None whatsoever. Question: Any association with the organization at all? Shaw: No. Here are a couple of links regarding deception and eye blink rate: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/226837273_Blinking_During_and_After_Lying https://www.psychologytoday.com/ca/blog/let-their-words-do-the-talking/201405/just-the-bat-eye What I found interesting is that the blink rate does not increase during the actual deception, but rises shortly after.
