Oswald's Jacket On Pawn Stars

Just thought everyone might get a kick out of seeing this! My Step Son called me last night from South Carolina to let me know that he was watching Pawn Stars and saw this. So of course I had to look it up on YouTube, lol! Was hoping it would be the jacket of his that was found after his death in the TSBD.

Why would Lee Oswald's name be embroidered inside the jacket?

And in ostentatious large script "gold leaf" lettering?

The kind of gaudy gold thing one would expect in Trump's clothing.

The opposite of bourgeois?

If the jacket is real though, and I had loads of money I would have paid $25,000 for it.

Remember, there is a famous photo of Lee and Marina standing outside in Minsk with LO apparently wearing this actual jacket which would add tremendous value to it.

I wonder whatever happened to the jacket that Lee (or Harvey if you subscribe to that theory) wore to work on November 22? I think they found it like a week or two later and returned it to Marina. Just curious as to if she would have kept it or threw it away or what? You'd think something that important you'd hang on to. Who knows?

If the Pawn Stars jacket were proven to be Lee's I would not only buy it...but I would wear it as well!

It's a beautiful and cool looking jacket. And in perfect condition.

I would also have a baseball cap made that had the words "I AM JUST A PATSY" on it's front side...and I would wear this whenever I wore the jacket.

That ragitty T-shirt Oswald wore in his Friday night jail house parading after his arrest was another cool item I would love to own.

The issue is authenticity. The claim is it has a signed statement from Robert Oswald authenticated by "John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA... as well as numerous auction houses" (from the link above given by Jean Paul).

I am not sure Reznikoff may be the most credible source of authentication . . .

REZNIKOFF, John. Many call him the #1 20th & 21st Century Rogue seller of autographs. He teamed up with forger (sent to prison) Lawrence Cusack III and helped him sell nearly 8 million dollars worth of John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe forgeries to over 100 investors. This breaks the past record in the history of autograph collecting of selling forgeries. The old record was held by Mark Hoffman, the Mormon forger and murderer who is presently in prison. Hoffman’s sales reached only three million dollars. Cusack went to prison after his partner Reznikoff turned on him. Reznikoff has been involved in many other scandals as well. Authenticating and partnering in the sale of the Elvis Presley lyrics that came from Germany. Reznikoff had to refund $75,000 on one of the lyrics sold to a prominent dealer. Reznikoff’s mis-authentications are legendary such as the forged Ronald Reagan presidential Oath of Office, the John Hancock/John Paul Jones document which if genuine would have been worth $150,000.

Reznikoff’s scandal of him advising the media of his purchase of Neil Armstrong’s hair has became an industry joke. The barber who sold the hair to a mid western autograph dealer clearly states he never heard of John Reznikoff. Reznikoff because of the sale of forged JFK/Marilyn Monroe autographs had to resign from "PADA" an autograph organization he helped to organize. Because of ethics violations filed against him, Reznikoff tried to resign from the IACC/DA, another prestigious autograph organization. Reznikoff was expelled from the IACC/DA. That seals it.

The jacket is a fake.

I have been looking around on the internet for such authentic jackets, and indeed, most have a basic white label to write your name on.

LHO didn't seem to be a guy to have his name embroidered like that, but one never knows.

I would like to see Robert's paperwork they allegedly had
