Roger Odisio
Lisa Pease is a national treasure. She and Kim Iverson clearly tie the murders of the Kennedy brothers together, for anyone here who still doesn't understand that. A meticulous researcher, Pease goes beyond where she needs to to make the case for the innocence of Sirhan and the implication of the CIA. She says she thinks Thane Cesar did *not* fire the fatal shot. His 3 shots were clustered around RFK's side where he was holding him. The fatal, up close shot behind the ear was fired by someone else. And Sirhan was most likely firing blanks as she explains in her book. Interesting. A classic case of an honest researcher going wherever the best evidence takes them.

How does the circle get squared in regard to evidence of extra shots in the ceiling and the door panel? How is the square the circle in regard to evidence of extra shots in the ceiling and the door panel? The first is a good question, the second is not relevant to figuring out the number of shots. Whether Cesar fired 3 shots into RFKs' side or one of his shots, was the fatal one, doesn't cause a problem itself in accounting for all the bullets. But if Sirhan was firing blanks that leaves 8 more bullets to be accounted for. Problem is, no one, including Pease, knows how many shots were fired, or bullets found, among the chaos. The cops weren't interested in finding more than 8, and covered up, destroyed, or lied about all kinds of evidence. I view the theory of blanks being fired as an interesting possibility-it does open the way to consider more shooters--but certainly not crucial to any conclusion about who killed RFK. Anthony Thorne
In her book Pease discusses evidence suggesting more shooters in the room besides Sirhan and Thane, with RFK being in the middle of the circle, all eyes on Sirhan shooting the blanks, and Thane taking advantage of being right behind RFK to fire some shots himself. Actually, positing that Sirhan fired blanks makes a lot of sense because at least one of his first few shots should have hit RFK or a bystander, given how close Sirhan was to RFK. James DiEugenio
BTW, I did not listen to this all the way through. But Lisa says that Iverson was really good, especially at the end. PS I did listen to the end and Kim says that the official story is inaccurate and the real story points to the CIA, and Kim brings in the JFK case also. Neat. James DiEugenio
Thanks Anthony. Nice one. Kim Iverson is a keeper. Smarty and gutsy. Lisa will be on another one tomorrow talking about Allen Dulles and his weekend. Will let you know about it.
