Denise Hazelwood
Jerrol Custer’s testimony to the ARRB described metallic fragments in the C3/C4 region of the neck (in a now missing neck X-ray), making it more likely to the throat wound was the exit from a small bullet fragment rather than an entrance for an intact bullet. Ron Bulman
Just the first minute. This is from ABC, where has it been buried? - (Immediately) noted a lethal wound. - No heartbeat or pulse, he was attempting anginal respiration. - wounds in the neck and head, the latter massive. - mortal wound, chance of survival, none. - two distinctive wounds. Denny Zartman
28 minutes ago, Vince Palamara said: The NEXT day 11/23/63: "...and a large wound to the head, in the right posterior area." I'm sure Dr. Perry meant to say "top of the head" didn't he? I mean, a doctor who was there saying wildly inaccurate stuff like the large wound to the head was in the right posterior area... people might get the totally inaccurate idea that the large wound to the head was in the right posterior area. That would be silly. I sure hope someone who wasn't there and had no medical experience will correct the record and tell us all that Dr. Perry didn't say what he said and that he didn't see what he saw. Agonal respiration, characteristic of impending death. And, yes, Ron, why and how did this ABC film get suppressed for 60 years?
Ron Bulman
12 minutes ago, W. Niederhut said: Agonal respiration, characteristic of impending death. Thank you for the proper spelling of a term I didn't fully understand, I assumed such. I've hesitated to post this for a long time because the thoughts are graphic. Given Perry's statements here maybe it's time. Though it's still kind of hard to bring it up. JFK was brain dead from the second the head Shots hit him. Perry: Was he in pain? I don't think he even perceived the impact of the bullet at all. The President was dead when the bullet struck him? That is correct. Does this happen often here? Something we are faced with quite often. Perry was experienced with trauma surgery, including frequently at Parkland, gunshot wounds.
Ed LeDoux
Important bits are neck was characteristic of an entrance wound for a missile. And rear head wound was one of exit or a tangential strike. Neither gives much support to a rear gunman in the TSBD. Nice find.
