David Yarnell Posted May 20, 2005 Posted May 20, 2005 Alright, the postal address of Carlos Bringuier doesn't help much, but who here ever has contacted Alvin Malnik ? E-mail, postage stamp, whatever. He represented Meyer Lansky when JFK was assassinated, though newspapers rarely say that. They focus on what Malnik did for Lansky in the late 1970s and early 80s (deportation hearings). Mr. Malnik is still alive. Here's his postal address, and here's what the Palm Beach (Florida) Post has said about him: Alvin Malnik Attorney - at - Law 8780 Horseshoe Lane Boca Raton, Florida 33496 Scroll Down Until You See Heading "The Saud Family And US Mafia" -- It Quotes Palm Beach Post As Follows: Quote On Alvin Malnik, the man once regarded as the heir apparent to mobster Meyer Lansky, described by federal authorities as a top associate of organized crime figures ... Among his friends, Malnik counts Saudi royalty. ... Vincent Teresa, a convicted criminal and frequent government witness currently in Witness Protection, said, "It was a known fact among the criminal underworld [in the 1960s and 70s] that dealing with Al Malnik was the same as dealing with Meyer Lansky." When Lansky died in 1983 at age 81, Reader's Digest named Malnik his "heir apparent." ... In 1962 [when JFK was president], Malnik was listed as a director of the Bank of World Commerce, a Bahamas - based institution that involved "some of the nation's top gangsters." Quote Off -- Rather than speculate on what Alvin Malnik knows about Oswald / Ruby, why not ask him ? Please don't wait until he dies and then announce the hospital where he declined to make a deathbed confession. Remember the 1960s. Be here now !

Be here now ! ------------------------- Through the intercession of Mike McLaney, Gus Russo interviewed Malnik while preparing for "Dark Side of Camelot" -- but it was on Deep-Background-Only; and therefore didn't appear in "Live by The Sword". Maybe somebody can atone for Seymour Hersh's irresponsible behavior by dropping Mr. Malnik a line. That he participates in online discussions seems far - fetched. Whatever happens, please nobody post details when the world loses Mr. Malnik. I hate it when somebody announces online that Pierre Salinger or Patrolman Nick McDonald died in XYZ Hospital from idiopathic fibrosis of the left kidney or something like that. Either write the senior citizen a letter or forget about him / her. This is definately his full time residence as he's claimed his Florida Homestead exemption on this property.
