Jack White
Tim...Jerry McLeer's M-C rifle page is EXCELLENT. Much of it uses my research. The rest of it is Jerry's own original research. I highly recommend the website http://jfkresearch.freehomepage.com/c2766.html for anyone wanting to know about the multiple rifles. Jack
Ron Ecker
It has been discussed on this forum also. I think the evidence is conclusive that there was more than one Carcano. John Ritchson has suggested that a Carcano was taken from among the Italian war trophies of General Walker and a serial number was put on it to match that on "Oswald's" rifle, with the obvious difference being that the serial numbers don't match in appearance. (This little-known fact is another example of the observation made by spymaster Allen Dulles, that when there's a slipup or something gets exposed in a covert operation, most people won't notice or understand what it means.) http://educationforum.ipbhost.com/index.ph...074entry19074 Ron Edited June 21, 2005 by Ron Ecker
