Zapruder and De Mohrenschildt

Much has been made of the fact that Abraham Zapruder’s business partner ended their partnership to marry George De Mohrenschildt in 1959. Has anyone seen any evidence that the two men had contact with each other?

I read somewhere that Zapruder was a member of a few CIA front organizations but can’t remember where. Is there any evidence that he was indeed a member of these groups and that they really were CIA fronts? If so any evidence that he knew this? Was he part of the leadership or just a member?

A dance hall which was a "must go" for servicemen during the WWII era, this dance hall was owned by Pappy Dolson, close associate of Jack Ruby and the "booking agent" for most of the girls who worked in the clubs such as Ruby owned.

Pappy's Showland, throughout it's history, was well know in Dallas, and even had persons such as Fats Domino & Little Willie perform there.

When the large open "dance floor" was not being utilized for this, Pappy Dolson rented it out to all types of other activities, which included:

1. Graduation & marriage parties

2. Wrestling matches

3. Fashion Shows*

Therein lies the "common thread" which ties Zapruder; Jeanne LeGon/DeMohrenschildt;Jack Ruby, Pappy Dolson, others.

"Nardis" of Dallas, for whom Jeanne LeGon/DeMohrenschildt worked, frequently rented the "Showland" club for it's fashion/design shows/presentations.

Lyndon Baines Johnson's personal secretary, Marie Fehmer, who flew back to Washington on Air Force One with LBJ on 11-22-1963, just happens to be the daughter of Olga Fehmer, currently living in Tyler, Texas. Olga Fehmer ALSO worked at Nardis of Dallas with Abraham Zapruder and Jean LeGon DeMohrenshildt.

From the above "limited" information, one could conceive of a motive for Jack Ruby having shot LHO.

BTW the article includes the familiar refrain that George Bush the Elder can't remember where he was on 11/22/63. Can anyone cite a reliable source documenting that Bush ever said this? If he ever actually said it, I consider it a damning statement. Thanks.

Ron - I found that article again after starting the thread. I had read it before so I think it was where I read about Zapruder belonging to CIA fronts.

I had the same impression you did. Since it desn't cite it sources it is only of dubious value.

John (Simkin) - I based the line that Zapruder and LeGon were bussiness partners on your Sparticus page. Since I started this thread Martin Shackelford and another well known JFK researcher told me they only worked for the same company, Nardis, and might not even have known each other. Other sites only say they worked together, what was your source saying they were partners?

John - I checked LeGon's Warren commision testimony. It appears that she only worked for Nardis (a company that started in the '30) for one year 1953 - 4.

What ever his role in the assassination whether it be patsy or LN or co-conspirator, Oswald was a very mixed up guy. There aren't any indications that Zapruder was like this. Stizman and I believe Rodgers said he supported JFK, Unless some one can find evidence to the contrary I would assume it's true.

I believe that Zapruders reaction, or rather lack of reaction, to the presidents wounds is an indication to me that he was not an admirer of John F. Kennedy.

The actions of Zapruder immediately after he stopped filming also do not indicate to me that he was an admirer of John Kennedy.

And his TV interview, about 2 hours after the assassination does not indicate to me that he was an admirer of John Kennedy.

Zapruder gained a very quick and substantial profit from that film.

I don't know about Adamson, but Dick Gregory said the same thing about Jackie Kennedy on the Mike Douglas Show shortly after Reagan was shot. He said Jackie still goes to Dallas.
