James Richards
Hi Scott, Do you know anything about a substantial amount of money that was attempted to be paid to Rothman in 1952? It was in the form of a check but was stopped by Dana Smith; an attorney and trustee for Sen. Nixon's expense fund at the time. James

I'm actually reading through Little Man: Meyer Lansky and the Gangster Life right now for research on the Trafficante book. Evidentally Lansky was no fan of Roughhouse Rothamn - who's other nickname was the fear-inducing 'Cappy.'
