Was Morales concerned that because Barker was in trouble, he (Barker) might be tempted to tell the authorities "everything he knows" about other things, or just about Watergate? (Steve Thomas) Steve and Larry, The potential of Barker shooting his mouth of was in direct contrast to Felipe De Diego who surfaced as a mystery player in the Watergate drama. He was questioned by federal officials in a closed door grand jury session and asked whether or not he knew Bernard Barker or Eugenio Martinez. De Diego invoked his constitutional rights against self-incrimination. Felipe De Diego was one of the guys Morales siphoned off Operation 40. FWIW.
